  1. Well I didn't meet most of my goals, but I did lose the five lbs, so partial success. Hopefully next time I'll do better.
  2. Even though I've been slacking on the goals/posting front, I've met one of my goals. I dropped 5 lbs, so now I just have to keep it off...forever.
  3. I feel you, if I don't get my workout done before work, I never comeback and do it. It's not like I'm too tired either, I'm just lazy.
  4. Update: It's kind of been a crazy week. I had family/friend issues to work through(so more stress eating). The weather was finally good enough to fly a little bit more(so less time to workout). And I had an in-flight emergency(that turned out fine, but it was kind of scary). So I've fallen off the wagon for the most part. But I think this next week should be better.
  5. I think I need accountability to keep going even when I miss a day, like today. PippinPDX: I really hate running, but the times that I have done it, a good play list is a must. I've heard that playing an uptempo song for the sprints and a slower one for the rest periods, helps so you don't have to keep looking at your watch. I've also heard of Zombies, Run app, let us know if you try it and how you like it. Tenaciousglee: I'm sure there is a way you could graph that data in Excel. Especially if the app you are already using can export data.
  6. Update: Long day at work today. I forgot my lunch, so I definitely at too much from the vending machine/raman noodles. I don't even want to know what my calorie total is. I slept in a little today because I figured I wasn't going to fly and so could do my BBW later, but I had a lot of meetings and trying to figure out my schedule. Then the weather cleared a little bit so I actually got to fly. So I'm not really complaining. I studied a little bit for my CFII, and did almost 2 hrs of simulator, so that's good.
  7. I'm with Heranje on this one. I get hooked watching Ellen videos on Youtube and look up and it's 1am. Plus my job messes with my sleep schedule a lot. I'll keep this goal in mind for the next challenge. Let me know any tips you find for getting to bed.
  8. DUDE!!! Being on a bomber during WWII would scare me so bad! I don't blame your mom for feeling nervous about it. But flying today is so much safer than flying during WWII or even Korea. You should go for it, once you get some time (and money).
  9. Thanks Daisy88. As a half-orc, I feel that the Dúnadans probably wouldn't have been excited about having me around. But you can't change your parentage and I'm working on fitting into Human society.
  10. Hey, add me to the list of Newbies. I'm still figuring out this forum thing, but I love LOTRs so I thought I'd join you guys.
  11. Updates: Friday, I did 2 circuits of the BBW, but I was very sore for the next 2 days. So yesterday I leveled back to 1 circuit and today I'm not sore at all. So I think I'll try two again today and see how I feel. I'm also doing a better job of warming up and stretching out afterwards, so hopefully that will help. Limiting calories is fluctuating; one day I'm under 1500 the next I'm over. So I'm still working on that. I'm trying to drink more water as well. I have not made progress on my CFII. So I need to get on that. The next step is to talk to my supervisor about getting started. I plan on doing that before Friday.
  12. My Current Stats: Weight: 160lbs, BMI: 25.8, Fitness Level: 2 circuits of the Beginner Bodyweight Workout. My Fitness Goals: Lose 5lbs, so my BMI is back in the Normal range. Do three circuits of the Beginners Bodyweight Workout, three times per week My Life Goal: Get my next flight rating: Certified Flight Instructor Instrument.
