  1. Poor start to the week, but I am finishing strong.. now onto REGIONS! Will post results of the goals later, gotta do homework.
  2. Day 14 - Sunday: G1 Ate well +1. G2 Workout 3x26 bw Squats, 3x11 pushups, and 1.5 hr practice +1. G3 no stretching +0.
  3. Day 13 - Saturday: G1 Ate well, kept from taking too much +1. G2 Workout 6x26 bw squats, 6x1 pushups, and 2 hours of ultimate +1. G3 light stretching +1. Good day for my goals, though need to study more.
  4. Well, here's to updating more often and with more details. Day 12 - Friday: G1 Ate well, kept from taking an extra plate, only 3rds plus dessert +1. G2 Workout 156 bw squats, 66 pushups +1. G3 Stretched some +1.
  5. Hey, glad to be back. The food goal is quite specific as it is basically making the correct choice, not taking 5ths ect. As I eat in a caf I don't control what food is available, the goal is to focus on the choices I make around that food. As for my ankle, someone decided to dive into it during an ultimate game. It must have got beat pretty bad as it still is not great 3 weeks later. But with some athletic tape, a brace, and vitamin I... bring it on. As to the past week: Day 5 - Friday: G1 ate ok with what was available +1. G2 Got a light workout in +1. G3 Did not stretch +0. Day 6 - Saturday: G1 ate poorly, gave in to some snacks. +0. G2 I got a good hike in +1. G3 Did not stretch +0. Day 7 - Sunday: G1 Ate well +1. G2 I did not workout +0. G3 Did not stretch still +0. Day 8 - Monday: G1 Ate well +1. G2 Practice +1. G3 Did not stretch +0. Day 9 - Tuesday: G1 Ate poorly +1. G2 No workout +0.. G3 Did not stretch +0. Day 10 - Wednesday: G1 Ate well +1. G2 No workout +0. G3 Did not stretch +0.   6. Thanks Shukar, my ankle held up OK at practice today with just the brace, so that's good. Back to the challenge at hand and my continued poor updating record! I was thinking about this before the challenge started despite the late posting so for the past few days, updates: Day 1 - Monday: G1-I did eat well so +1. G2-I did not workout as I was recovering from a tournament over the weekend +0. G3-I also did not stretch, a poor choice with the running over the weekend +0. Day 2 - Tuesday: G1-I ate poorly, lots of greasy, bad food +0. G2-I did workout, though I would like to increase this +1. G3-I did stretch though I should increase this as well +1. Day 3 - Wednesday: G1-I ate well +1. G2- I did not workout +0. G3-I did not stretch +0. Day 4 - Thursday: G1-I ate poorly in the am, but roped it in in the pm +0. G2-I did workout(practice, and some strength on my own) +1. G3-I did stretch today so +1. Not bad overall, with a small laps in eating this morning due to being distracted by work - 6/12 so far.
  7. Well I did some challenges a long time ago, but life go busy. Now I am giving it another shot. Man Goal: I have no idea... life's a changing and will be completely different by the end of the challenge, so just going to try and stay on track with some smaller goals - staying healthy, ect. Goal 1: Eat Better - Basically make the 'right' choices, don't always go for fifths ect. I know what is good and what is bad, I just need to be aware and follow through on it. Goal 2: Workout - Do some strength exercises daily(push ups, squats, abs) Goal 3: Flexibility - Spend some time stretching every day. The lack of scouty fitness goals is due to me injuring my ankle a couple weeks ago, but hopefully will be better soon.

    ****************** Re posting from wrap-up thread, just for my own benefit. ****************** Well, other than not updating the challenge was not a total failure... so Goals: Handstand- dropped Pushups- F Pullups A- Running - B Study - D+ I dropped the handstand goal as my arms were could not handle it. I never really worked on the pushups, can get maybe 20-25 on a good try but never did. I did get 5 pullups, though they could use some work. I did not keep up training the running though, I started putting in some better mileage right at the end and I was able to do a sub 1 hr. 10k. Overall this puts me at a C... I did well in a couple areas and terrible in others, so balances out. I will be changing focuses for the next challenge so we shall see!

    Making some progress, but the handstands are going to go... arms and shoulders are super sore with only pushups and pullups. Need to get some more runs in, but resting again today to let some bad blisters heal on my feet. Back to it tomorrow.

    Managed to knock out 3 pullups in a row yesterday, looks like I may exceed the goal!, also a bunch of runs last week.
  12. Sundae is meanders through the deserted town after a busy week, the rain chased everyone inside. However he welcomes mother nature even during her fits. Glancing at the message board outside the Scout's Guild, a flier catches his eye. Dragons Breath Valley, thinks Sundae, I haven't made it over there in ages, I'll give it a look see. And off jogs Sundae (quite literally as I will now go for a rainy run!).

    So still making progress with the goals, skipped a few runs due to working late and rainy weather, but did some strength work instead. Did not do a great job with the learning goal, though it will shift to a study goal now that my summer class is about to start. Anyway, just gotta keep it up.
  14. Look at it this way, with that crazy of a workout, you need to be eating so eating the pizza is not so bad!
