Tuesday August 2, 2016 Crossfit 3 rft 20 mountain climbers 60 single unders 20 weighted Russian twists #25 20 push-ups 200m run Time: 18:16 This was a hard count on everything so I did 20 mountain climbers each leg and 20 twists each side. My CF coach thinks my gas tank sucks so he told me I have to do more cardio intensive workouts. He's right because I absolutely struggled with this.

  4. Friday July 29, 2016 Crossfit Floor Press 2x10 #185 CFT 20 deadlifts #185 100 single unders 15 deadlifts #225 100 single unders 10 deadlifts #255 Time: 7:01 This was a good workout. Deadlift is right in my wheelhouse. I mainly did touch and go on all of them.

  6. Sorry I haven't updated. It was a busy weekend. I tried to stay active all weekend. I went for a 3.5 mile walk on Saturday and then on Sunday I was out swimming all day. Monday July 25, 2016 Crossfit DT 5 rounds for time 15 deadlifts #155 9 hang power clean 6 push jerk Time: 15:26 Tuesday July 26, 2016 (happy birthday to me) Crossfit Overhead Press 6x3 #165 Cindy 20 min amrap 5 pull-ups (used a black band) 10 push-ups 15 sit-ups Rounds: 8 + 2 pull-ups A couple of Crossfit benchmark workouts to start the week. I'm still woefully bad at bodyweight stuff. But back in February I did Cindy and got 8 rounds but that was doing ring rows instead of actual pull-ups (even if they were banded). So I'm proud of my effort. I got a lot of compliments on my DT time so I suppose it was good.
  7. Does anyone know if the various apps like UnderArmour and Nike Plus track your distance accurately? I have a feeling they don't.....
  8. I had a work function last night at a place that had bowling and laser tag. I played like 5 games of laser tag and I was drenched in sweat, my calves and ankles were burning and this morning my legs are sore like I worked out all night. Quite a fun little workout.

That made me feel good. 95 pounds is so light for me though that I was just throwing them up with muscle snatches unbroken. No workout tonight because we have my mid-summer party at work this evening. But it's at a place with laser tag! I always work up a good sweat during laser tag.
  11. They didn't fill me up at all. I was hungry an hour later. Those meaty paleo breakfast muffins might be something to try though.
  12. I have tried a ton of different vegetables. I'm not sure how to get that across. And I spiced the hell out of this chicken. It has salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic. I almost feel like if I'm going to try to eat healthier I need to figure out how to do it without chicken because chicken just isn't working for me.
  13. My first post did say I've tried a shit ton of different eating methods and haven't been able to stick to anything. I have tried a ton of vegetables and I have tried to prepare them different ways. Each time I just find them to be flavorless, or gag inducing or I have a huge texture problem with them. I do love olives though and I can eat a salad made out of raw spinach....
  14. ..............steak? I pretty much hate all vegetables. I have to force myself to eat them when I do. I can't even swallow them on their own. I have to chew them up and then take a drink to wash them down. Really the only things I find appetizing are carb heavy stuff laden with cheese (like tacos, pizza, etc) and like fried chicken strips. Oh and burgers. And meatball subs. And other fried stuff.
