  1. HEROES NEVER DIE! Sorry, had to resurrect this thread. Any Oklahoma rebels out here still? I'm in the Midwest City area!
  2. Hey! I literally just did the same thing. I'm super excited to aee another person out here kicking butt. Rock it, glad to see you!
  3. Challenge accepted! We can treat this like all those games where you have to beat the game or else the world explodes. DON'T LET THE WORLD EXPLODE!
  4. Man, lemme just say- those months of no period are nice. I've had a completely period free year before and when I started BC again I was like "OH GOD I MUST BE DYING!" My ob/gyn told me once that the death cramps after not having a period for a long time are because your uterus has no idea what to do so it overdoes it. I'm also pretty sure I'm completely cool with being the Hulk. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ah! I have cysters here! (I totally stole that phrase from the forum Soul Cysters, because it's awesome) I've been off birth control and metformin for awhile, but once I get health insurance again and talk to an OB/GYN I can't wait to get back on. I liked the regularity of it all, even though I've gotten pretty accustomed to not having a period. Seriously, every time it happens I react like it's the first time ever and I flail around going "How do women do this every freaking month this is awful!" I'm one of the people who sipped the Cross Fit Kool Aid, and I found that having a really vigorous exercise program really helped. My OB/GYN also recommended a low carb diet (like everyone's talked about here) but my carb cravings are fierce. I am a sugar fiend, which I've been struggling with. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix the sugar cravings I would love it. Weirdly enough, since my hormones are out of whack, I feel like I have super strength.I build muscle pretty well! Or maybe that's not the PCOS. I might just be the Hulk.
  6. Oop, crap. That was smiling not smiting. Neeeeevermind! *carefully sweeps comment under the rug and pretends it was never there* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Can't we smite and smile at the same time? All I know is that I kicked its proverbial butt! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What?! The fact that you're still alive after three months of no deadlifting is astounding. I'm pretty sure that my lack of deadlifting has contributed to me becoming a zombie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Way to go! A little of something is better than nothing, I say! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. In this order! 1: your food porn is pretty fantastic and I was super envious of the steak and tomatoes. Soooooo gooooood 2: that list is intense, and burpees are the devil (but I love them, so I guess they can't be all evil?) 3: ADULTING! YEeeaaAAAAAH! 4: how did you go about making the forum goals? I want to get better at replying to forum replies and posting regularly but now that I'm not at my desk a lot I don't know how to go about it. Suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I played a halfling ranger and an elven ranger in D&D and have found I REALLY like rangers. I hope you have a blast! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Following! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm gonna be short and sweet and to the point: I actually started doing the beginner body weight workout's elements throughout my day at work. Already did my jumping jacks and squats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Be sure to wear a helmet for whatever you do. Some of us are really prone to head injuries... >_> I love Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Totally following this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey mister! I'm glad you're here- as for forum tips, I say just be sure to set aside a little time to check up and be sure to follow a couple people's threads. I feel like you can get a lot out of the community if you reach out to folks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
