  1. Seems all the physical/mental goals are going well. However, the financial and education goals not so well. Need to get my head back in the game with those.
  2. Rest of the weekend went ok. Thankfully lol
  3. First stumble yesterday. I've been ill this week. So drained of energy. Last night I snacked and went to bed early (12 hours sleep). Didn't meditate last night. Its one day. On to the next.
  4. So far so good. Replaced sugary snacks with an apple and some mango. Even managed to answer another question on my MCIOB submission - knocking them down slowly on that one.
  5. Grrr got with a a huge wall of depression. Small steps though. So will do what I can for the plan today. Then a little bit more tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So is this day 1? If so, I emptied the cupboards of sugary snacks last night. Which took about 20 seconds, as we don't have any in the house. Which was cool to find out.
  7. Possibly, not sure what the American version of minced meat is.
  8. New training schedule is a lot of fun. Lots of different things to learn. Not easy, but when its fun it feels easier. Hitting more cardio, without actually running, rowing or cycling.
  9. A current favourite for food prep for the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Well I got on a bike last night. First time in 22 years. 9 miles. We wont mention how long. I don't remember it hurting this much the following day when I was a kid. I'm sore in places I didn't know I had. But all in all I burned 1500 calories in exercise yesterday. Not all on the bike. Still off the booze. Still eating well. Long weekend this weekend, so will be keeping it all up - make the most of the time.
  11. I’ve not looked in to it yet. I’m also told dark chocolate helps too. The 90% and above cocoa content stuff. Not sure on the science there either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. L-Glutamine is meant to really help, so I'm told. Still waiting for my delivery (Damn you Amazon).
  13. Yeah. This works for me weekdays because I work away from home. Like you I workout in the morning, 4am start. 8pm - electronic devices off, or out of sight. Read fiction book for an hour tops (at the moment its down to 30 mins before my head nods). While reading listen to something relaxing - jazz, classical. I found 210 nature sounds on apple music (not sure how), that has like 20 hours of stuff that somehow helps me relax. If I haven't already nodded off, at 9pm I meditate for 10 mins. Usually I'm asleep before the guided meditation is finished. I used to have all sorts of trouble getting to sleep. But this works most nights. I have a rare brain overload that stops sleep, but those are very rare now.
  14. Just added that for a future challenge. Thanks. I forget to have fun and be flexible like that.
