  1. Today, I feel like I failed hard. After my optimism in the morning I seemed to slip as the day went on. Operation Goodnight Mission one: Completed Mission two: Completed Mission three: Failed: Woke at 9.30am. It was so cold I didn't want to get out of my bed. Feel terrible for being so lazy. Operation Ravenous Mission one: Again, still can do better. Mission two: Breakfast: Two eggs, two slices of bread, 180g low fat yogurt, small apple Lunch: Breast of chicken, rice, beans and lettuce After starting out so well, I just fell to bits, started ate a big snikers bar and loads of candy sweets. Mission three: Completed Tomorrow, I will try and improve the eating. Will stick to my diet plan, and drink loads of water and tea. I can do this!
  2. Well, this weekend wasn't so good with regard to eating and drinking. Burgers, beers and cakes. But I slept a lot. One thing I did notice was how tired the shitty eating makes me feel. I am not sure how I can limit the damage of the weekends, it's really holding me back. Today, is Monday! Fresh start to the week. I want to focus on getting to the gym this week, not been for ages! I will do Muay Thai tonight and gym tomorrow morning. I will also get back onto eating again. I hope everyone smashes it this week!
  3. Operation goodnight Mission one: Completed Mission two: Completed Mission three: Wake at 7.20am. Today I got up at 7.30! Was so cold this morning when I woke up. And who thought Brazil was all sunshine! Operation Ravenous Mission one: Again, still can do better. Mission two: Breakfast: Two eggs, two slices of bread, 180g low fat yogurt, small apple Lunch: Breast of chicken, rice, beans and lettuce Snack: Apple, chicken sandwich Snack; Yogurt, coconut water I did eat a 20g chocolate bar and a wafer thing. Mission three: Completed I did an hour of muay thai training today, focused on technique. I am going to try to start going to the gym but want to combine with the muay thai. I also weighed myself and was not happy with the result. 103.20kgs. I want that signature that shows weight loss progress!
  4. Today was better! But room for improvement with eating. Operation goodnight Mission one: Completed Mission two: Completed Mission three: Wake at 7.20am. Today I got up at 7.30! Ten minute lay in. I see the difference in my day when I get a good eight hours sleep. Operation Ravenous Mission one: I did OK, but I can drink more. It is a little cold right now, so not drinking as much. Mission two: I need to get some salad in my life, with some variation in fruits, but I did a lot better today. The only thing was I ate a bar of chocolate, which I was craving. Breakfast: Two eggs, two slices of bread, 180g low fat yogurt, small apple Snack: Yogurt, slice of bread and apple Lunch: Two breasts of chicken, mashed yam and beans Snack: Apple, chicken sandwich Snack; Yogurt, coconut water Late dinner: Two breast of chicken in wrap Mission three: Done. Tomorrow, I am going to Muay Thai, so I will weigh myself.
  5. Hello peeps! Today good and bad. Operation goodnight Objective is to get eight hours sleep per day. Mission one: Completed Mission two: Completed Mission three: Ops, I got up an hour later. But all sleep is good right. :/ Operation Ravenous Objective of the mission is to get to 90kgs Mission one: Failed Mission two: Failed/ Didn't eat breakfast cause I woke up late. Lunch was good, but ate a snikers. Mission three: Failed. Tonight I will plan my food for Thursday better and I will also weigh myself at the gym... Going to do Muay Thai tonight. I also need to work on some rewards and timescales for completion.
  6. Hi all! Welcome to my diary! When I was younger, I was really into WWII war games, my favourite being Hidden and Dangerous II. For me it was the greatest WWII shooter ever made. You controlled a team of four S&S troops for a number of missions across WWII. The other day it hit me after signing up to nerd fitness, Why don’t I split my goals up into operations? Operation goodnight Objective is to get eight hours sleep per day. Mission one: To stop using screens after 10.30pm Mission two: Sleep by 11.20pm Mission three: Wake at 7.20am. Operation Ravenous Objective of the mission is to get to 90kgs Mission one: Drink enough water in the day Mission two: Follow food plan, which will allow me to eat a balanced diet. Mission three: No drinking sodas
  7. Hey, Thanks for replying! Muay Thai is great, gets rid of aggression and is a pretty intense work out. Procrastination is one of my biggest enemies as well. Countless hours of my life have been wasted on youtube. The horror. I think we really need to ask ourselves why we do this? Easier to be in the cave, perhaps.
  8. Hello all, Happy to have joined the site after reading the book and hearing Steve talk on some podcasts. Also looks like a there a bunch of great people on this site. I don't feel like I am starting from level zero at this point in time, in fact, I've already been there three years ago (messy breakup), so I am quite a way into my journey. I feel like I have moved a lot in three years: set up a company, renting my own flat, new gf and I learnt to speak portuguese, all while living in Brazil. But... With all this great stuff in my life, I still feel like there is something missing, I feel anxious, I don't think I am 100% satisfied with the work I do (bank and translation). My weight still yoyos and sometimes I eat s**t. I am also prone to bouts of extreme procrastination. I have been doing Muay Thai for 3 times a week for three years, and regularly spar against different levels. I consider myself tough and a good boxer, but I still have a lot to work on. I guess this is one of my first wishes, is to improve even further at Muay Thai. Such as gas for rounds and, not sure how to put this, but I never seem able to hit any decent combos, I'd like to work on this. I am also an irregular gym user, I'd like to find out the types of stuff I can do to combine with Thai. I am interested in increasing my speed and agility. Thanks everyone!
