Cool! I have never tried Karate, but you make it sound super interesting! I like that it's a sport you can keep learning and tweaking. Good luck with your goals.

This time of year is so hectic and busy. Good to see you have a plan!

Thanks! Yes, I think I will keep a chart of some sort! I've decoded to change one of my goals. Instead of not snacking, I'm going to track food on MFP. I feel like this is a better way to discourage snacking because I'm simply too lazy to track and count every handful of snacks! PROGRESS Exercise 1: 36 mins/C25K walk-jog Exercise 2 Exercise 3 Exercise 4 Exercise 5 Exercise 6 Exercise 7 Exercise 8 Exercise 9 Exercise 10 Exercise 11 Exercise 12 FOOD TRACKING Day 1: missed Day 2: 2282

Hello everyone, I'm Jennifer. I like the idea of a 20 day challenge because it feels attainable at this time of year. I'm going to keep it pretty simple: 12 workouts of at least 30 min each Track food on MFP I snack A LOT. Hoping the 3 meals will get me out of that habit. Currently I eat maybe 1 meal and just snack all the time. Good Luck everyone!

I actually did workout yesterday, but never posted. So, here's my workout: On the meal plan: I've kinda ditched Whole 30 and I'm counting calories instead. Just kinda tired of that eating plan. I'm trying to stay under 1500. So far, so good!

I also have RA. Are you on meds? I was, but not anymore. I'm doing pretty well without them, as long as I keep the stress levels down and my emotions balanced. They seem to cause flares more than anything else. I started meditating and that helps a lot. I listen to Michael Sealey on Youtube. His accent is captivating

Glad you are feeling better. Not every eating plan is right for every person. Just gotta find one that is right for you and that you can live with.

Nice goals. Smart to take it slow too. Your cat is adorbs. I clean the house for extra cardio - scrubbing is actually really good exercise. Best of luck!

Hey, thanks! Appreciate the encouragement! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Snapshot of today:
-
I go MWF. That is what I have found to be very doable and realistic. Any more than that and I start making excuses, lol.

Hi, thanks for the encouragement! I may transition to paleo after W30, since they are pretty similar. ------------------------------------------------------- Today was a gym day and I went! Here's how it went .... 3 sets for each (besides the step ups and stair mill) This is a circuit routine at my gym and I'm just going to stick with it until March. At that point, I'll change things. So, I just up the reps each session until I get to 12, then I bump the weight to something that's challenging for 6+ reps and start over. It took me about 75 mins to complete.

Hello, happy 2019! I'm Jenn, not exactly new here -- I've tried this challenge thing before but it's been a few years. So, my goal this round is to stick to my eating plan and exercise routine. I started the Whole 30 on Jan 1st. I'd like to actually do a W60. I did two successful rounds of W30 last year and lost about 8 lbs each time with a total loss of 25 lbs in 2018. So, it's time to start chipping away at 30 more ... Current weight: 177.6 Goal weight for end of round: 170 Goals: Food Plan - Whole 30 Exercise Plan - MWF Gym cardio + resistance
