  1. Back when I first started working out, I got up to planking for a minute. It impressed the other people at the gym, but looking at people here it wasn't that great. These days I try and I just fall over! Maybe plank on my elbows?
  2. Thank you. I don't plan on eating any meals (I don't eat sit-down meals anyway, normally) today. That pasta was more than enough! I have to get down to some kind of exercise today, for sure.
  3. Skinnyfat, skinnyfat. I have to shake off another half a stone before I get down to gaining muscle. (I don't believe in recomposition - from my very basic knowledge of physics, energy just doesn't work that way.)
  4. @Guzzi I love shinty! I played it as a child. Hurling too. Hockey was always a bit wimpy for me.
  5. I really appreciate feedback. Never been a Nietzsche fan. ;-) Today: a little bit of pasta, a small fruit trifle labelled "230kcal" but I question it, a cereal bar, crisps, black coffee, and some chocolate. God, this is certainly "dirty bulking" - and I'm trying to lose!

  7. I have my characters and scenario down - the problem tends to be the fuzz in my head. It's improved with medication, but I never can seem to fully wake up.
  8. One of my fellow inmates patients gave me chocolates and a biscuit. MFP now has me up to 1060kcal for the day. I won't have the chance to eat again tonight, I don't think, so I'll just try to work out a bit.
  9. Hello there. This will be my personal journal, etc. Current quest: stay in shape in hospital. Last weigh-in: 106lbs. Last height measurement: 5'2". Today, I ate/drank: Two protein shakes | 180kcal Pasta and breaded potatoes | 500kcal? Half a rich tea biscuit | 10kcal Five nicotine lozenges | 50kcal *** 750kcal And, exercise: Three laps of the tiny ward garden. I got bored of that depressing place and came indoors. *** ... 2kcal? Ha!

  11. Getting out for a walk. Okay, that was last night, but I fell asleep until 3am right after!
  12. Trying to get something or other, some kind of short story thing, down today. Not getting very far. Trying and trying but just not making it.
  13. Ah, well. Very tired today indeed. Eaten nothing, but also done no exercise. Difficult to in here.
