  1. Brand new to the site and idea as a whole. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic and I have already been exposed to some ideas of meditation and spirituality I guess you could say. I am trying to do a druid/assassin class mix. Does anyone have any ideas how to start from scratch for this class? Any meditations or anything that are good for beginners would be awesome. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated!
  2. Brand new to this whole site/idea. I have gotten some help with where to start with body weight work outs but I was wondering if you guys had any class specific advice. Currently, I'm about 5'10 and 200lbs (male). I've lost a lot of weight in the last few months with the paleo diet before i found this place but I want to work on speed, agility and some functional strength. I'm not so much interested in gymnastics per se but parkour and something like ninja warrior peaks my interest. Anyone have any recommendations for just starting out?
  3. New to this whole thing. I do not have anyone who is really supportive in my life (I'm an addict/alcoholic in recovery so I have some supportive people as far as that's concerned but that's about it. Noone who gets what I'm doing with this whole thing). I'm going to be incorporating exercise into my regular routine and meditation and maybe even some other stuff past that. Have a lot of goals and need people to help keep me motivated and most importantly accountable. Does not have to be in person and you can be in any time zone, I would also appreciate the chance to help someone else. Accountability, motivation, support and competition are great for growth!   5. I just started on here. I am willing to start exercising and doing the work I just don't really know where to start. I'm between 5'10"/5'11 and about 200lbs. I don't know what my body fat percentage is (I know I'm overweight) and I don't know how to measure it. My goal for right now is to lose body fat. I actually have lost about 30-40 lbs in the past 4 months or so just by going on the paleo-diet before I even found this place. I have a pretty good idea how to do that. I don't know where I should start exercise wise for losing body fat and building strength. Ultimately, I want to become as athletic as possible...I'd like to go for the assassin style build as you guys might call it. Sorry if I'm rambling, I just don't really know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. I've just stumbled onto this whole idea and I love it. I'm motivated to become something more than what I am. My whole life I have felt like I wasn't living up to my potential and something inside burns for more, I just don't know what is. My family is pretty much all deceased. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict and don't have much in the way of positive support of people around me. I need help. Can anyone help point me in the right direction of how/where to start, how I could connect with people who can help? I'm kind of overwhelmed with all the content on the site, I just joined like an hour ago. Any assistance anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I'm not even sure what class I would fall under. I want to live a life of adventure, I am interested in meditation and spirituality, I want to get in good shape and be athletic and agile...I'm kind of all over the place and need some guidance. Someone help please
