Update:

Xena and I finished the PvP.

Mission: Complete!

 

My abs started to show a signal of life :)

Hey guys, I've just discovered this PVP forum and it's just awesome! And instantly I wanted to make a game:

 

Muscle's origins: the six pack.

This is an open PvP game, so I'm looking for players. The game is not to get abs like Wolverine but to to start building them up.(and build the habit)

 

This is one of my quests for the current 6WC so a little fun will help me a lot.

 

The Game:

Rules:

 

The game is to make P4P 8 mins abs program.

Starting from monday, august 4, you'll make the following workout 3 times per week, mon-wed-fry.

 

After the workout, come to this post and comment " Day (number of the day), DONE"

 

It wil be for 5 weeks , a total of 15 days. ( a week extra).

 

The Deathmatch

 

After tinishing the 15 days, you'll be ready for the level 2.

The deathmatch will consist on doing the second level and then make as much rep as possible, the winner will be the one who makes more reps.

 

 

You'll need:

  • An Android device (optional), they have an app and it could help you with training. App link 
  • Real adamantium claws (optional)
  • Floor: you need  floor to make the workout, you can find it everywhere.

I'm curious but a little confused. The heading says Aug 28, but I think maybe you mean July? Then in the post you say it will start Aug 4. Are you starting Aug 4 or July 28 (yellow square on calendar)? I'm not sure if I'll do the deathmatch, but I would give the level 1 workout a try...

 

Let me know when you think the start date should be.

I'm curious but a little confused. The heading says Aug 28, but I think maybe you mean July? Then in the post you say it will start Aug 4. Are you starting Aug 4 or July 28 (yellow square on calendar)? I'm not sure if I'll do the deathmatch, but I would give the level 1 workout a try...

 

Let me know when you think the start date should be.

 

 

Fixed! Thanks for letting me know about the mistake :) Originally was jul28 but then there was no time for people to join :P

Cool! I tested it out today and got through the Level 1 workout ok. I read the comments about the workout online and a bunch of people complained about neck soreness. They are right...most of the moves leave your neck unsupported, so you have to be really careful to use good form (look up at the ceiling as you lift). Seems like this works upper abs harder than lower, and it doesn't do much for the obliques. Probably worth adding in some side planks, windshield wipers, or twisting moves if you want a more complete ab workout. I'll definitely join you guys for these workouts starting next week.

They are right...most of the moves leave your neck unsupported, so you have to be really careful to use good form (look up at the ceiling as you lift). Seems like this works upper abs harder than lower, and it doesn't do much for the obliques. Probably worth adding in some side planks, windshield wipers, or twisting moves if you want a more complete ab workout. I'll definitely join you guys for these workouts starting next week.

Oh yes, neck sore bother but the first week, then it doesn't. I think the workout is okay for the first level, the second level is harder, welcome player 3 ! :D
