I've always been physical. I played sports in school, was in the Army for 9 years, and did some power-lifting after I got out. Unfortunately, I've also struggled with my weight all my life. My personal bests are two years behind me, and my weight has just gotten totally out of control. I knew I had to do something.

When I found Nerd Fitness Academy, I signed up immediately.

I call log over there Seeking Sandow, because I find the legendary strongman to be an inspiration and seek to live up to the ideal of physical culture that he exemplified. I’ve been working in earnest for 90 days now, lost 10% of my bodyweight, and my lifts are coming back up. Now to continue on the path of the Ranger, I must venture outside the Academy forums and see the whole of the Nerd Fitness world. So I'll be dual logging both there and here.
