Pushing out of stagnancy

Recommended Posts

As title suggests, I've been really stagnant in terms of progress for the past couple of months. I hit a plateau in both weight loss and strength gains and just didn't have it in me at the time to push through. So I rode along that plateau, day by day losing more and more motivation to keep eating healthy (had a fall out for about a month) and keep adding on the weights.

But in the past two weeks, I've managed to get my life together. Decided to just change the number of sets and reps per exercise, and decided to start cooking for myself again (hard to do, mum takes up like 90% of the fridge trying to feed the rest of the family so...).

Ultimately, it's not a huge number or anything but after months of a rock hard plateau I managed to drop a kilogram off the scale :D I'm even thinking about changing the diet to gain muscle weight now since I'm well into the "healthy" weight range my doctor suggested.

with my weight training I decided to start lighter and work back up to my personal best with smaller increments this time, concentrating more on form and technique. I feel like it's finally getting somewhere :')

Today, I want to be better than I was yesterday... so that I'm ready for tomorrow.
