Fitness Advent Calendar

Hi!

 

I found this awesome fitness inspired advent calendar online and I thought that I would share it with everyone. Also, I'll be posting random Christmas pictures to annoy make this even more fun!

 

How it works:

Starting December 1st, I'll be posting an exercise everyday for 24 days.

 

Challenge:

Add this to your daily exercise routine for some fitness fun!

 

Side note:

It looked like a few of them required equipment, but I'm sure there are modified versions that can take their place if need be. Also, the source of these is the Women's Health magazine/website in the UK, but men can do these exercises as well.

 

Remember:

Adjust accordingly to your fitness level and do your personal best! If you want to do more reps of the exercises given then feel free to do so.

 

To make this more fun for everyone I think that you should post/participate on the thread, let me know how you did! I'm mostly saying this because I'm used to my threads being dead and I end up talking to myself... which isn't healthy :tongue:

. Eleanorsbee, I have NO idea how you did a 3 minute plank.

 

 

I started trying to do handstands .. which involves slowely moving the plank up the wall .... I cant for the life of me do a handstand .. but a 1 minute upside down wall plank, seems to convert to about 3mins regular plank

 

That and I plank every time I wait for the kettle or microwave ... I dont feel any stronger, look any different ... but my planking skills have improved .. its the only thing I am good at .... I just wish wish wish, when I went to the Gym all the big guys would strut around and say things like "Bruh, do you even plank" .... I would be like their king ... still, until a belly and planking becomes cool and in fashion I shall just practice ..... right Crunches !!! .... I havent done a crunch for years !!! .. this is going to hurt I feel

2 min plank, need to work to hit my 3m PR again. Managed to pump out 100 crunches too. Not sure about the Skater Jumps

Did the task on my (slightly flat) Swiss Ball and lasted for 2Min30. Might have been able to push through for a bit longer if I wouldn't have done it right after lunch I guess, haha ...

 

Anyway, thought I's post so you don't feel like talking to yourself. So, keep it up, I am still following :-)
