Jogged a 5K!

Yeah, the Scouts are saying "Big deal, I do that for a warm up!"  

 

But for me, a 6'1, 240-lb guy who falls closer to the Warrior class, running has never been my strong suit.  Several years ago I was jogging 3-4 times a week and did pretty well with it, but it's been close to 4 years since I actually did 3.1 miles without walking.  And while I'm not breaking any speed records, the next goal will be to do it under a certain time.  Now to go put some ice on my legs...

Fellow 240lb here. When I was younger (and 25lbs lighter), a 5k was like coffee, something you do to wake up in the morning before breakfast. Since converting to "Ranger", 5k's seem like FOREVER. And that extra 25lbs makes a difference!  Grats!
