Finally Have Some Progress to Report!

Just wanted to share something I’m proud of. I used to be 240 lbs when I was younger. The photo on the left is me in October of 2011 at 190 lbs after a bit of weight loss, but clearly not enough. I made it to 150 lbs (total loss of 90lbs), but put some muscle on so now I’m at a comfortable weight of 164 lbs.

I have a very long way to go, but I’m finally starting to see my hard work pay off. I never thought I would be happy with myself. Getting there. Thanks for listening, folks.

Matt! Dude that is fantastic progress - you look a lot healthier and more jacked.

Well done sir. What's your next dragon to slay?

Thanks, Steve. It's an honor to hear from you lol this is a nice surprise. The next dragon I will slay exists in the realm of body fat percentage. Still have some training to do before this, however. I separated my shoulder and damaged my knee in 2011 in a dirt biking accident, so I'm working on building strength and muscle in those areas. Thanks again for the comment. It means a lot.

"some" progress?

Thanks for the comment, Rookiebeotch. Hope to see you around these parts.

Wow Matt! Way to go! I saw this after I was half dead from my run and it's definitely something to remind people why you should keep going. Really, that's amazing progress. I can't wait to see where you'll be going from here :)

Thanks, Revy. It makes me feel good to be able to share this and get positive feedback. This community is awesome. Thanks for the comment.

Out of curiosity, what's your age/height?

Hey Roldanis, I'm 22 and 6 ft.
