Snatches & Recovery

When October ended, I found myself with what felt like knee arthritis and a failed challenge to execute a 30 kg Snatch (couldn't even Snatch an empty bar). Sucks balls, but yeah, shit happens.

After 2 weeks of complete rest, evaluation of my nutrition and my workout goals, and 4 weeks of slowly working my way back up, I'm glad to report that I can finally execute that damn 30 kg Snatch for comfortable triples (been doing them since last week!)!

Best of all? I'm almost back at the weight I was squatting before I bombed out, but now I'm squatting deeper and without the knee pain!

So... Woot? :-D

No body, no mind.
