A bit lame really, but: Can touch my toes again!

I've been working on my fitness doing various things for the past year and a half, been attending a gym since September, and really found my groove with Stronglifts 5x5 since mid-Dec.

 

I don't know if it is the squats, but on Monday I realised it might be possible and yesterday I did some stretching then - touched my toes. Probably for the first time in decades!

Like everyone above said, that isn't lame in the slightest. There are a surprising number of people that can't touch their toes so being able to is legit awesome!

Not lame. Totally undervalued ability. Tight Hammies are the cause of 80% of back problems and millions of Americans end up on disability each year because they can't touch their toes.

Not lame. Pride justified.

I think it's natural to compare our progress against those who impress us with theirs, but then again, we didn't all start in the same places. I have to remind myself of this all the time.

Agreed with everyone saying not lame. Just google "yoga for hamstrings" and see the amount of videos on the subject for proof of how many people struggle with it. :)
