Gonna do like Gainsdalf suggested and keep to one thread, and therefore, I declare this to be the one thread to woot them all...

 

2nd Neutral-grip-non-kipping Chinup - achieved!  Followed shortly by a Third!

 

Pronated grip pullup - crushed (1x2) !

 

Plateau (90#) on OHP - vanquished !

 

Numbers:

 

BMI - Reduced from 28 to 26

...and even better:

BF% - Reduced from 27 to 20 ! ! !

 

!

 

Going back in for the followup bloodwork (Glucose, triglyc etc.) in a week or so and will post updates here.

Thanks Ajaxus, but remind me why BMI is useless? :confused:

BMI makes too many assumptions.

If I were to put the numbers of a 6' tall, 215 lb, 15% bodyfat man into a BMI calculator, it would tell me he is overweight.  It basically assumes that everyone of certain heights should fit into certain weight categories.  For the average person, it's ok to use to gauge general fitness..but if you are an athlete or seeking to become one, it isn't really a great way to measure progress.

Tracking bodyfat, taking measurements of your body..these are much better to track general fitness imo.

Goodbye sleep! My little girl (2nd daughter) came into this world 3 wks before her projected due date, she was so excited she just couldn't wait. So we've been doing the 3-hr feedings at night ....groan. :) But anyway she's happy and healthy and my wife is recovering well!. Gotta come up with some workouts to do at home to make up for the gym time I'll be missing since I took family leave to help out at home, and my gym is closer to my office! Suggestions welcomed...
