This is not a good start to my battle log, I've been fighting off a bad chest cold and fever for the past couple days, but I want to get this thing started; and hey why not, then I can compare how I'm doing when I'm physically healthy to when I'm a whimpering puddle of mucous watching too much Tales from the Crypt. 

 

Exercise: 

walked for half an hour, before I started coughing up a lung 

 

Food:

Breakfast: 2 blood oranges and green tea

Lunch: pepper soup and apple sauce, green tea with honey and lemon

Dinner: pepper soup, apple sauce, blood orange, green tea with honey and lemon  

 

Meditation:

Did 5 minutes of music meditation

Pulled out my old guided meditation CD and did a full body scan (about 10 minutes)

Welp yesterday was a write off... fever spiked and ended up sleeping the whole day away.

 

Today was better, definitely on the mend

 

Exercise:

walked for an hour and a half and worked a full eight hour shift (I'm a cleaner so my job involves a lot of moving around)

 

Food:

Breakfast: tea

Coffee break 1: water, orange

Lunch: home made chicken soup, canned peaches (also home made) water

Coffee break 2: water, orange 

Dinner: Chicken curry, brown rice, water

 

Meditation:

5 min body scan

breathing focused for around 5ish minutes (lost track of time)

Pretty much better; now if only my nose would stop running, I'd be able to swim again.

 

Exercise: 

Walked while doing all my errands, as well as to and from work, for a combined total of about 5 km

worked a full eight hours, spent most of my time running around like crazy or climbing up and down ladders (never a dull moment)

 

Food:

Breakfast: oatmeal with homemade berry compote, tea

Break 1: orange juice

Lunch: chicken curry with brown rice, water

Break 2: yogurt 

Dinner: Borscht, water, 4 mini oranges 

 

Meditation:

Walking mediation while I was walking around

Breathing focused for 5 minutes

Exercise: 

Got into the pool for 2 hours; nose ran like crazy, but feeling so good after a swim

Walked 10 k 

 

Food: 

Breakfast: black tea, eggs

Lunch: 2 salmon cakes, 1 apple, 2 oranges, 2 homemade ginger cookies, water

Dinner: 2 salmon cakes, salad with homemade oil/vinegar/lots of garlic dressing and beets, 3 ginger cookies, tea  

 

Meditation:

lots of walking meditation

breathing meditation

Exercise:

Walked 5 k

worked 8 hours

 

Food:

Breakfast: tea, salmon cake 

Break 1: apple, water

Lunch: vegetarian pizza (got called in last moment, and didn't have time to make a proper lunch) water

Break 2: apple juice

Dinner: fish curry with veggies, water, ginger cookie 

 

Meditation: 

DBT grad group today, so lots of meditation there as well as working on DBT skills

Breathing focused meditation 5 mins
