Schmoopy Husband

Recommended Posts

So I've been working out fairly regularily since January, but haven't seen real consistent weight loss. But I have seen progress, in the amount of goo coming off of my body and muscles going onto it. And the strength gains.

But my husband pointed  out something to me the other day.

I was discussing how I can see some of the changes in my body, and he mentioned on how the biggest change he's seen is in my face. I was surprised, because to me my face hasn't really changed all that much, a little thinner but nothing dramatic, and I said so.

My husband smiled at me and tapped my lips 'The biggest change is right here. You'd started to smile a lot more.'

Yes it was sappy and schmoopy and I kissed the daylights out of him for it. Apparently I'm a much happier person when I take care of myself instead of tear myself down. Go figure.

Awwwwww. That's awesome. I was just saying in another thread that even though the main goal has been to get in shape, the biggest benefit hasn't been the physical side, but the self confidence and way I feel about myself. Glad I'm not the only one.
