Greetings from the North. .

I stumbled upon Nerd Fitness on Facebook today.  I needed motivation to jumpstart my health journey and this seems like just the place to do that.  I love the fact that I can be myself here.  I can be a complete nerd and not have to hide who I am or try to act "normal". 

 

Now that this icebox I call a home is starting to thaw and spring is finally here, I will be able to enjoy the outdoors more often. 

 

I want to walk and enjoy nature more.  I hope to at least get a mile a day outside (weather permitting)

 

I want to get to a weight where I actually look and feel good.  I hope to average about 10-20 pounds a month weight loss to do that. 

 

I want to do a 5K in August.  I don't expect to jog it, but I do want to finish it. 

 

And eventually, I want to join the Nerd Fitness Academy.  Hoping to save money and join within the next 7 months.
