Just somewhere I'm going to record what I do for workouts, so maybe in a  year or so I can look back and see how far I have come.

 

Week beginning 27/4/15

 

Monday: C25k Week 5 Run 1 - 5 minutes running, 3 minutes walking, 5 minutes running, 3 minutes walking, 5 minutes running - DONE!

 

Tuesday: Rest

 

Wednesday: C25k Week 5 Run 2 - 8 minutes running, 5 minutes walking, 8 minutes running - DONE!

 

Thursday: Rest

 

Friday: C25k Week 5 Run 3 - 20 minutes running - DONE!

 

Saturday: Rest

 

Sunday:Rest

 

2015 Goals:

 

  • Run a 5k
  • Run a 5k in under 30 minutes
  • Lose 30lbs (2015 goal weight: 120lbs)
  • Start regular strengh training
  • Start going to a yoga class once/twice a week

Monday: C25k Week 9 Run 2 - 30 minutes running - DONE

 

Tuesday: Beginner Body Weight Workout- DONE (2 SETS)

  • 20 body weight squats - 20,10
  • 10 push ups - 9, 2 (knees)
  • 20 walking lunges - Done
  • 10 dumbbell rows (using a gallon milk jug) - Red band done
  • 15 second plank - Done
  • 30 Jumping Jacks - Done

 

Wednesday: Yoga class - DONE

 

Thursday: C25k Week 9 Run 3 - 30 minutes running - DONE

 

Friday: Beginner Body Weight Workout - TOOK REST DAY

 

Saturday: 30 minutes running - TOOK REST DAY

 

Sunday: Beginner Body Weight Workout - DONE - 2 Sets (Decided to take the lunges and jacks out the routing though - want to focus on my squats over lunges and I do plenty of cardio running, I want this to be a strength workout)

  • 20 body weight squats - 20,20
  • 10 push ups - 7, 5 (knees)
  • 10 dumbbell rows (using a gallon milk jug) - Blue band done
  • 15 second plank - Done

  • Easy longer run (9:00min/km) 35 mins

  • Sprints 6x100m

  • BBWW

Saturday: - DONE
