Mr_Willes Posted May 7, 2015 Report Share Posted May 7, 2015 Tuesday me and the wife went to my mom cause we were in the neighbourhood and had some spare time. So we were drinking a nice cup of coffee and tea and she tells me she talked to my nephew (a few years older than me, with a succesfull own agriculture company) told her he admired me. The way i live my life. My relaxed working hours, and the time it gives me with my family. The free time i have. All the fun stuff i do. It felt like a huge compliment. If there is one thing my father (and especially his passing) has teached me, it is, make sure you can live in the future, but absolutely don't forget to live now. Now i know for some people it is hard to make a living so i won't judge (i try to never do that) but i really don't get why people insist on (only) making career. I have some friends who are always bragging about how hard/long they have worked that week. If that's what makes you happy, by all means go for it. Just respect me for trying to be as efficient at life as i can be. I try to have the best work/play ratio i can (while making sure my wife and kids can have a great life too). By the way, I love the gifs you used!
