Killer Posted May 17, 2015 Report Share Posted May 17, 2015 I ran (I use that term loosely) my first 5k last fall and yesterday finished the Indianapolis Spartan Mudslide Sprint. The mud was awful, it took 9 hours to get through the thing and I did hundreds of burpees as penalties but I finished the SOB. Once I can move my arms again I'm going to work on pull ups. That would have saved me many, many burpees. At the end of the race they hand everyone a banana and it was all I could do not to cry in relief while eating mine. A shout out to my trooper of a wife for sitting in the rain all day just to cheer me on as I jumped the fire. Quote Link to comment
