New (and feeling the assassin guild?)

Recommended Posts

Hi. You can call me Stylax. I've never been on a forum site like this before so any pointers would be appreciated, as well as links to threads or posts I should read. I've had a look at the guilds. I've done running and sprinting. I've always been the skinny guy and I'm sick of it - I need a change. What I really want to do is increase my strength, stamina, and overall fitness. Honestly; what I'm looking for in my 'quest' isn't to really do hardcore weight-lifting or body-building but I want to increase my body weight in general, so tone up - put a bit of muscle on - but work on stamina, ie. sprinting, too. And stuff like that. I'm a mechanic in training so I have some experience with heavy-labour work. I like the sound of the assassin guild, but what do you think would be best for me? And I game. I like most driving games, mainly Forza.

Thanks.

My recommendation would be to read up on the blog posts, and plan on getting into the next six week challenge when it starts. The usual recommendation is to do your first challenge with the recruits. Also, get some short term goals in mind.

Hey you. :)

Here's a few of the links you should check out;

1. This is pretty much just to give you a really basic staple to work on, but its something a lot of us do;

2. So here's in prep for the next 6wc (6 week challenge). Its just the beginner's guide. You pick a main quest (what you're really striving for long-term - something that you might keep with you for several months rather than just weeks, ie. to be as muscular as I'd like, to be able to run 'yay' far, etc...) , and a few smaller ones ones that you might want to complete during each 6 weeks (ie. work out twice a week for this challenge), and then in the next it might be 'three' times, or even more/less. Anyways, before I overcomplicated things, here's the amazing link;

Don't worry too much. The next challenge is a few weeks away so there's plenty of time to work it all out, and I'll help out. For now, you might want to firstly work out your race/class/profession, then what you want that to be in the future, and then to perhaps make a 'daily battle log' - just an accountability thread - where you can talk as briefly as you want about what you're planning on doing and just post whenever you want to talk about it.

We may be eventual guildmates! I'm looking to lose some weight before starting on assassin stuff, myself.

I think I'm gonna go with the Rangers personally.

I thought about the assassins but the rangers seem better for newbies like me ;)
