Hi I'm Isabelle :D

Hello everyone, first I would like to apologize for any possible mistakes I can make while writing in English (I'm brazilian so, still learning...).

 

I want to say that I'm really glad I found this website/forum to help me. I was quite lost in all this fitness universe. I decided to be healthier for 3 basic reasons: 1. I'm getting fat real fast; 2. I don't want to get sick easily; 3. (And most motivating) My boyfriend comes back from a long trip in August (2016), so I have less than 10 months to get hot  :pride:

 

I mean I'm not fat, but I'm eating a lot of crap since I start studying for the bar exam (which passed last week yeaaaah), so I decided to go to the gym and eat better now. My final goal it's to get a body hot as f***. Like Staci's, for example (http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/), right?

 

Maybe I take a "before" photo, not sure how it works here. For now, I'm going to organize my information in topics so everyone can get to know me better (I used google converter, not sure about those results):

First goals:

1. Start the gym 

2. Stop drinking soda

Welcome! A start photo is a great idea many of us are doing it. You take new pics on a regular basis and watch the magic happen! The great thing is that you focus less on weight and more on the actual results and how you feel.

My introduction is Here - My Battle Log is There - 6wc I - 6wc II - 4wc III - 4wc IIII (ongoing)

Main goal : lose excess fat down to 14% (currently, i look roughly like a : 20 to 25 -according to many sites offering pictures for comparison)

current 4wc progress :

Goal 1 : walk !!! (2h27 out of a minimum 12)

So my first month is over and I'm satisfield with the results. I wonder where I can post pictures.

 

Here's what I've been doing:

  1. Going to the gym (4-5 days a week).     At gym I: run 20 min every day; lift weight and have muay thai classes once a week.
  2. No carbs at dinner. 
  3. Having 5 meals (maybe I should have 6, not sure yet).

Sucessful goals:

  • Go to the gym  :snowman: 
  • Stop eating Doritos and similars :snowman: 

Still working on:

  • Stop drinking soda - I stopped drinking it on weekdays, but it is difficult on weekends with the family.

That's some great start. About the photos you can post them on your thread if you like, as milestones for your journey... but you can keep them to yourself as a personal reminder. Some weeks you May not be satisfied with the scale but the pics will tell you you're really making progress that shows!

As for the soda goal you may want to focus on small change : secure your success which is not drinking on week days which is a great achievement to start with and you'll deal with family situations later as your determination and self confidence grow
