My career

Recommended Posts

A few weeks ago I was contemplating getting out of the Army for many reasons; most of which were just dumb.

Well this morning I re-enlisted for another six years, I've already been in for nine between reserves and active duty; looks like I may end up being career. The next six years will tell.

First, thank you for your service.  And I mean that from the depths of my heart.

I pulled the trigger at 9 3/4 years.  4 year initial enlistment and then 6 year re-up.    Many times over the past 29 years I've thought I made a mistake.   Yes I've been more successful in my current career but it seems like I'm not always as happy as I was back then.  But I'm sure I'm looking back at the good and forgetting the reason I made the decision.

Good luck in the rest of the your time.
