I have always strived to better myself. However I always took on too much, planned poorly, and allowed setbacks to knock me out of the game completely. It seems now though, that after 34 years, I have the right mix of experiences, desires, and tools to make my life exactly what I want. It's exciting and daunting to say the least but I am approaching it with honesty and use of all the tools available to me.

 

I look forward to getting to know some of you and seeing the incredible things we can do together.

Welcome! Looks like you've learnt a few things the hard way, hopefully the community here can help keep you on the right path.

We do 6 Week Challenges which are designed to break up your goals into manageable sized chunks. There's one running right now, though this time it's a 4 week challenge. You should have a look at it and follow a few people, just to see how it works and get some ideas.

Some people go all in for the role play aspect, and others just ignore all that stuff and keep it straight forward. It's entirely up to you.

You sound a lot like me.  Knowing that makes me feel better.  I know a lot of us have the same hardships sometimes, but just reading it makes me know I'm making the right choice by being here.  Good luck to you, friend!
