First time lifting!

Recommended Posts

As part of the EdNerdUp this weekend I got taken weightlifting by @SpecialSundae.  Never done it before and managed 50kg squat and 100kg deadlift.

Apparently that's not too shabby for a n00b???

Oh, and I broke my foot exactly four weeks beforehand.

Yeah I'm probably not going to stop talking about this for a while!

You were spectacular! I've never worked with a group of new lifters who are as impressive as the EdNerdUp gang!

That's because the EdNerdUp gang are awesome!  Also Iain is a pretty nifty teacher ;)

I'm starting to have a vague think about what my plan is when I'm officially healed and am actually considering putting some regular lifting in there.  What have you done to me :P

We can do an exchange. Although I'm probably going back to pole rather than taking up trapeze.

Iain is awesome!

Excellent, Excellent work!  I myself need to start hitting the weights as well.  I have been walking like a boss and just started some interval jogging, but my real goal is to lift and build some serious muscle.  Very well done!!
