Problems with mischievous magical folk

My home seems to have been infested with elves, or imp, or some kind of faerie folk!

 

Over the last couple of weeks they've been coming into my room at night and adding tiny strips into all my clothes to make them baggy, also they've been making my belts longer.

 

Then yesterday I get to work and find they've been fiddling around with my tool belt!

 

I think they might be elves, (remember the shoemaker?) But I can't be sure.

 

I'd be grateful for any advice in dealing with them. ;-)

Here's the best way to handle this. First of all, leave out some honey, milk, and fortified bread (preferably something sweet). Then you need to finish the ritual by sacrificing some coloured pieces of paper at a metal and glass altar. You'll discover after this is done that you have what appear to be brand new clothes that fit properly.

Will they appear to be new well fitting clothes to everyone or just me? Or will they actually be new well fitting clothes?
