    • Yes these! Thanks       And thank you!
    • Not really, and when we do it's a one day deal so people can join the protest downtown. Which is a damn shame if you ask me, but let's not get into that.   It's nice to be doing them again!   Monday 22 April  Cooking: Had to rush off to work, so no breakfast and took leftover cauliflower rice/couscous with beef mushroom stir fry for lunch. I did however make fish fingers in a tortilla wrap for dinner and also cooked a couple of pork steaks to be chopped up for future dishes, so two points there.  Media Production: Listened and posted about the album of the day. Also listened to a new one that came out on Friday.   Not skill point related in anyway, but also "assisted" my girlfriend fiance in booking tickets to come see me late next month. I put that in quotes because I didn't really do anything, just a screen share for reassurance she was doing everything right with the booking. She's too awesome to need me to hold her hand through this. But yeah, tickets booked! Much excite!
    • This sounds amazing and wonderful. Disconnect from everything, as much as you can, and enjoy the break! We'll be here when you get back
    • This is the clip I actually wanted to find for you. Took me a while, but here it is.
    • Sounds like your body was just telling you to slow down a bit.  Glad you had fun at the theater outing! I can be like that too, with a quick reaction to say no to unplanned stuff. But sometimes unplanned stuff is the best!
    • The third of fourth time someone approached me unnoticed and tapped me on the shoulder, I accidentally shoved my chair backwards, hard, from being startled. Pure coincidence. Absolutely unintentional. I was startled and embarrassed at how close I came to cause someone injury.   That's how the IM habit got started.   😇
    • Whew! It was a busy day but pretty productive. Got the editorial stuff done for journal B (although not half an hour later, MORE STUFF rolled in for journal A!) got PhD defence questions mostly compiled (will give it another hour or so tomorrow morning), had a quick pass over MSc proposal, fixed up some lab safety stuff, went to seminar, came home and had a quick decompress before heading back out to rehearsal. Back for the night now 😅    Food tracked for 4 days in a row now, and within goals for 2 days in a row!   Thanks for the cheering section, much needed!
    • Rounding the final bend and heading for home, now! But first!     Last week was an off week for me. I was very low energy, low interest in doing things, low appetite, which is quite unusual for me. Not sure what was going on there, but I'm happy to report that I'm feeling much more like myself this week. Despite setbacks, I managed an even 100 points last week, including a spontaneous community theater outing with a friend on Sunday, which was excellent, and a reminder that I really need to be more open to last minute get togethers. I joke that plans must be submitted to be at least 48 hours in advance, and while I do in general prefer to have things planned out ahead of time, I need to work on my knee jerk rejection of anything that comes up unexpectedly.   I did not do well with Morning Prayer at all last week, and took quite a beating from the Imp. My Fitbit alarm experiment appears to have been a bust, although it was an off week, as I said, so perhaps it's unfair to judge it based on that alone. But I'm going to anyways. Reverting back to using my sunrise alarm, and going to test out going the opposite way and getting up earlier than I have been. Days I've had to be up and moving earlier than usual, I've had no problem rolling out of bed. It could be because I've had stuff going on that meant I had to be up and moving, but it's still worth a test run. Tomorrow I have to be up early anyways to help with election day stuff, so I'll just leave my alarm set for that time for the rest of the week, and we'll see what happens. I'm thinking with an earlier start, I could get Morning Prayer in and even do some lifting before I have to move on to chores and work prep and everything.    199 points away from my goal. I really have to finish off a Dread Warrior or an Imp this week to "win" this challenge. All the more motivation to do better with Morning Prayer and make sure I don't miss any workouts.
