  1. Nothing better than an unexpected day off and very nice job on the test!! Go hard tomorrow!
  2. Yay for an A!!! We'll let you keep the dp through finals, then we are going to be on you to cut it out!
  3. Week 1 - yay! Week 2 - plan looks awesome! I dabbled around on Spark once, do they have short videos or what is the kickboxing?
  4. Don't grow up to fast! I love my Galaxy S3, I'm sure the S4 will be great too. Shake off the candy bars and move forward. Working out at the gym - I have figured out that everyone there is much too self-involved to notice what I am doing. I was super self-conscious at first, but now I put my headphones on and jump rope and figure if they don't like the way it looks, they should turn their heads the other way. (and I got a beastmode sports bra so I don't feel like the girls are jumping higher than my head which did attract attention in the past ) Keep doing what you need to do for your health!!
  5. Goals look great Wiri! I hear you on the eating out - I've gotten so bad about lunches. What book are you reading now??
  6. Hope the headaches stop completely soon - it is tough to stop that caffeine fix! Nice food choices - keep it up!!

  16. Okay, yes, I am totally lame. This challenge is pppffffftttttttt but I still think of you guys! I seriously hate the computer and never, ever want to sit down in front of it after work. So I'm saying hi from work instead. New job is going great, tons to learn but I am SO freak'n happy! Next challenge will be 4.1 since I skipped out on this one! I thought of my fellow nerds when I saw this pic this morning: http://s1325.photobucket.com/user/alarep71/media/squats_zps5c21d8f0.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 Hope you are all doing awesome!! Edit: so why can't I just insert pics anymore??
  17. Nice work adjusting your goals a little bit. You need to keep cheering yourself on for small successes (and I'll be cheering too:)) Good luck Wiri - you CAN do this - be strong!
  18. Back to Basics, baby - totally the way to go. Don't downplay that they are 'easy' goals - making yourself a solid foundation of good habits is tough, but so very worth it! You are going to ROCK this!!
  19. Yayy Laureleye - great to see you again! Goal 4 is frick'n awesome - I LOVE how you have it laid out, that will totally make it a manageable project because you can actually cross things off the list as you complete them. Good luck, my friend!!
  20. Looks great, Jaimee! London would be so sweet, I hope you make it. Good luck with the goals!!
  21. Challenge #4 babyyyyy!! 1. Diet: Slow down, make smart choices [con 3 | wis 1] cut food into very small pieces (this will be hard for me, I'm a get it over with and get on to other things type of eater - but I know it leads to overeating)set fork down between bites, swallow before picking fork back upkeep healthy snacks at work and bring my lunch at least 3days/weektry 1 new recipe/week (not necessarily a meal, just anything that looks good)everyday, make one conscious healthy choice over a less healthy one (either saying no or choosing more wisely)Measure: track daily (this will be a little loose because I suck at tracking even though I know it really is key). 5+ days=A, 4days=B, 3days=C, 2days=D, 1day=F 2. Fitness: 3 days/week, any type of cardio [dex 2 | sta 2] Swim, ski, elliptical, walk, TurboFire DVDsMeasure: 3days=A, 2days=B, 1day=C 3. Strength: Bodyweight Workout 2 days/week [str 2 | con 1] I would LOVE upper body strength and sexy armsAssisted pull ups (today 7/5) goal 10/10Assisted dips (today 8/4) goal 10/10Planks (today 40s/20s/20s) goal 90s/30s/30sFocus on good form and build reps up SLOW so I don’t re-injure my rhomboid muscle strainMeasure: 2days=A, 1day=C 4. Life Level UP – 1 big activity/week with my kids [wis 2 | cha 2] I am a mom to 5 kids. During winter, I have a bad habit of sending the kids outside to play while I clean house or read or relax. I need to focus more on them and lose the lazy parenting act.Activity will be exercise-based fun that lasts for more than one hour. Ex: sledding, community center, skiing, basketball, roller skating, Kinect competitionI, of course, do things everyday with them, but half the time I'm distracted and doing laundry or answering emails at the same time. Measure: start at grade F, move up one letter grade for each big activity.I am not changing goals 2 & 3 dramatically. I really feel the need to make those two into habits that I don't even think about and I am getting close to that point. I really want to spend more time with everyone here this time around and will make an effort to do so. I will check in at least once/week (with a goal of 3 times/week). Does anyone else feel a little bad when they post an update but don't have time to go check on their friends? I know no one expects visits and comments EVERYday, but I feel like such a bad community member when I just leech and enjoy the support, but don't make time to come visit you all! Wishing you all the very, very best this challenge. The beach is just a short 10-Minnesota-winter-weeks away. I'd love to be able to wear the two-sizes-too-small swimsuit I bought a year ago off the clearance rack! Stats: [will fill in numbers later] Female, 42 weight: belly: boobs: butt:
  22. Glad you kept on track even if your goals weren't the priority. I seriously think you need to get that wall run going though, we'd all LOVE to see it!! Be cheering for you next challenge!
  23. Hey Husker! The nice thing about the 6 week challenge is that even if you fizzle a little bit at the end, you still made progress and you get the excitement of starting a new challenge with new vigor right away since the next one begins so soon after this one ends. Looking forward to seeing your new challenges and how you use what you learned this time around to get to your goals!
  24. Great work, Jaimee! I have learned so much from each challenge and am slowly fine-tuning what works too - that is a good thing that you figured out some things that need to change. Sticking to it key - see you next challenge!
