  1. Thats awesoem I can't wait to get to that point!!
  2. I have couch to 5k and have thought about starting it again but I am interested on who has used the rebel guide and how it went? Where did you start in your running abilities and what improvements have you seen? How do you fit your running training in with your strength training? I am a slow slow slow jogger and I love lifting in fact I would love to someday do olympic lifting. That said a part of me wants to be a runner or at least be able to run a full 5k without starting and stopping. Thanks for the info Rebels.
  3. This weekend I made my first steak Yes I have never cooked a steak before and this is coming from a girl who makes homemade jambalaya with a spice mix that's been passed down for ages and can make creme brulee from memory. Steaks always intimidated me!
  4. Thanks. I welcome the rain as well but it makes me want to hibernate instead of say hit the gym lol I pushed through today and went to the gym
  5. For bigger girls or girls with bigger girls I mean I love love this bra http://www.amazon.com/Goddess-GD5056-Womens-Sport-Bra/dp/B00128KJA0
  6. City of all cities Seattle, WA Mild climate, mountains nearby for snow, you get used to the rain plus we do have some sunny days Job market is still pretty decent especially if you have tech skills COA about the same as Chicago plus it's really pretty here
  7. Where in the PacNW are you? I am in Seattle and new as well. I have lost about 15lb with diet and excersize in the last 6 weeks though most was due to going Paleo. I am here if you need help, a friend, to vent, have questions or whatever!!
  8. Beer will happen as well cheat meals. By that time I don't plan to be strict Paleo and I mean come on it's Germany and my favorite beer is german. Thanks for the information though I will be staying with friends on military bases so I am sure some things will be easier to get there but I can ask them to check now.
  9. Thanks! Looks like there's quite a few PacNWers here! I am waving a big hello but you probably can't see it amongst all these invading clouds.
  10. My question is I am going overseas to South Africa for six months next year to volunteer. I will also be spending a month in germany beforehand. Has anyone experienced spending a long amount of time in another country and if so how did you deal with eating Paleo there? I will have my own place and car so can shop for myself. I don't think finding locally sourced veggies will be an issue but I wonder about grass feed beef vs corn feed. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I will be living in Capetown and working outside it.
  11. Great suggestions already. I suggest finding a buddy. Online is great but local helps more with having a fitness pal. Body weight workouts are great!!
  12. Last night I dreamed I broke eating Paleo! Thank goodness it was a dream I woke up so mad lol
  13. Hi! Very weird I just joined this site but I think I met you. I saw somewhere you went to World Domination Conference in Portland this year? I happened upon a group of attendees walking in downtown by the Church of Elvis. You look very much like one of guys in the group even if not they were a fun gang so I hope you enjoyed yourself!
