Alright folks, I'm so stoked right now I can barely keep from wetting myself. I'm coming into this halfway through the challenge already, but it donnnnn' mattah, we're going to rock some socks off. To really melt my face off I'm going ahead and setting standard goals, as well as "goal+" versions of each. Goal+ versions are a bit less realistic, but they're what I want by the end of the year give or take and there's no reason I shouldn't shoot for them now. Only by hitting each Goal+ would I manage to max out points, otherwise, changes are minimal. If it turns out that the first time I attempt each of these I end up finding out I've underestimated myself, expect a hike in difficulty for each. GOAL: Bolster my circulatory system with tension-heavy cold showers, daily. Timeline: End of challenge Goal+: 20 min ice bath once weekly, or an extended early AM dip in Devil's Pool Bonus: CON+2 Bonus+: CON+2, STA+1.5 GOAL: 15 consecutive 1-1-1 pace pull ups (palms out) Timeline: End of challenge Goal+: 15 consecutive 2-2-2 pace pull ups or 25 consecutive pull ups, weighted Bonus: Str+2 Bonus+: Str+4 GOAL:Sub-6 miniute mile Timeline: 26 October Goal+: sub 5.5 minute mile (by end of challenge) Bonus: STA+2.5 Bonus+: STA+4 GOAL:At least one well written love letter to the FI per week Timeline: End of challenge Goal+: Above plus fancy date night (finances permitting) Bonus: CHA+2 Bonus+: CHA+3.5 I realize I'm behind on starting this sucker, that's okay by me, I'm still going to contribute as best I'm able.
