  1. This is a good idea, especially since you realize forcing yourself is taking a toll. AS LONG AS you don't beat yourself up for this later. You're not failing, you're not quitting. You're just gathering yourself so you can be more awesome.
  2. It really does. :3 So, I'm kicking ass with my cleaning and active goals, but still sucking at getting my sleep on track. Especially since it just passed 4:00AM and I haven't gotten offline yet. x.x Anyway... I cleaned the shit outta the sofa... and broke the vacuum... and figured out how to fix it. That was way more than fifteen minutes of cleaning and was pretty strenuous, so I pass on those two goals. SLEEP: F CLEEEEN: A ACTIVE: A
  3. Monday Went to sleep sometime around 4:40AM. Woke up at 1:30PM. Did some Wii-ness (sixteen minutes, thingy said I burned around 80 calories), and I cleaned some gunk outta my car. SLEEP: D CLEEEN: A ACTIVE: A Tuesday My sleeping got worse. x.x Went to sleep at 6:30... AM. Woke up around 2:30PM. T.T I cleaned the sink in my bathroom and did dishes. Twenty-three minutes of Wii Fit, it said I burned 120 calories. SLEEP: F CLEEEEN: A ACTIVE: A I think I'll just do Wii Fit instead of walking, as it's actually more physically exerting. Plus, after doing Wii Fit for several days a little over a week, I'm feeling that delicious sore-ness. It's making me want more. Hopefully I can use this as a crutch to finally ride my damn bike, now that it's been fixed and re-seated for over a month.
  4. That's pretty cool. I'll have to tinker with that soon. Gah, I gotta stop dropping off for a couple of days at a time. x.x I forget what I did (and didn't) do. I know for all those days, I really sucked at my sleepy goal. Except for Saturday, where I had to wake up early because I had an early shift. That day, I went to sleep at 1:00AM and woke up at 8:30. And then because I had gotten up so early, last night I went to sleep around 2:00AM. But other than that, I really sucked. I did thirty minutes of various Wii Fit-ness Thursday night, but after that, it was bare minimum. As well as cleaning. Today was no better. So. Thursday-Sunday EVERYTHING: D Gotta scrape myself off the ground and DO shit. Kick my depression in the ass. It is not an excuse. Amusingly enough, last challenge (that I failed horribly), one of my goals was to do something creative at least once a week. And so far, I've done that for this challenge. I realized that today. Guess that gives me some awesome points.
  5. This week is looking to be a strong week!
  6. Pfft, "pending." Sure. I didn't do anything. Pending means nothing. Last night, I got distracted by a new site I found and got off the computer around 2:50. Then, I did no cleaning in my room, but decided to finish reading my book (Sir Thursday by Garth Nix), so I went to sleep around 5:00AM. T.T Woke up around 1:00 and tackled the day. Sorta. Went around with my mom, more shopping. Bought some clothes for a trip I'm going on. Buying clothes is terribly depressing, which is one of the reasons I'm here on Nerd Fitness! Hung out with James after shopping. I guess I gave her too much of my energy, 'cause when I got home and tried to do more Wii Fitting, I was shaking and stuff. D: Still did ten minutes of various workouts, in addition to all the walking. I did a lot of extra cleaning to make up for yesterday, 'cause I was mad at myself. In doing so, I also found out I have a serious sock addiction. I have too many socks. I have two separate sock drawers: one for "professional" socks (thick, comfy work socks), and one for "crazy" socks. Technically, I have a third sock drawer for really thick, warm sweater socks. But, uh... I could barely close the crazy sock drawer. And that wasn't even all my socks. Some are still dirty. Gah. But also for cleaning, tonight is trash night, so I gotta take trash to the road after I get offline. SLEEPYTIEMZ: D CLEEEEEN: A+ ACTIVENESSNESS: A+ I don't know what to read, now! I don't have the next book in the series. Woe is me.
  7. I remember that one of my "tactics" to wake up early was not to pee the night before. It's also a technique for remember dreams. What ended up happening was I just slept long anyway, and woke up and had to run to the bathroom. But today! Of course I read last night, anyway. Pfft. Went to sleep around 3:40AM, woke up around 12:30PM. Could have been a lot worse. Instead of walking, mom was talking about some stretching that's good for a lot of stuff. I tried that, then dragged out the Wii Fit and did a buncha yoga stuff. Did a little over twenty minutes, a little under 100 calories burned (said the game). I did some dishes, and I know it's last minute, but I'm gonna clean in my room before going to sleep. So, I guess I'll leave that as grade pending? SLEEP: B- ACTIVE: A! CLEEN: pending?
  8. I need to snap out of the habit of not posting around weekends. D: Friday Since I waited so long, I don't remember exactly what I did, except I pretty much failed with waking up/going to sleep, and I did cleaning and activeness. Err... SLEEPS: D CLEEN: A ACTIVE: B Saturday I know I failed again with sleep-times here. I think I went to sleep around 5:30. D: I woke up at a better time 'cause I wanted to get some last minute cleaning done before my mom got home, and since it was last minute, it was more frantic... so I get an A for activeness as well. Plus, I remember taking the Pook on long, brisk walks. SLEEEEP: D CLEEN: A ACTIVE: A Sunday Yeeahh, I failed everything Sunday. Woke up around 2:00PM. Went to sleep around 6:00. :c Didn't clean anything. Didn't even walk Pook, I just let him outside. SLEEP: EFF CLEEN: EFFF ACTIVE: EFFFF Monday My intense laziness Sunday made me really tired, for some reason. I ended up going to bed around 12:30 or so, but then I read until 2:40, where I promptly passed out. Woke up around 11:00 this morning. Washed dishes and laundry, but was still pretty poopy with being active. SLEEP: A CLEEN: B ACTIVE: D Bleh. Gotta do better! I'm not even gonna read. I'm so sleepy. Shoulda gone to bed already.
  9. Yeah, that's kinda why I made the deal. To light a fire under my ass, so to speak. I don't know if any tv announced it, I just keep track of things like that. The summer solstice is always around the first day of summer.
  10. Haa, no groaning... thankfully. Some people, you can just feel that they're a creeper. For him, it was a combination of things he said and did. He asked me why "Asians massage differently," asked if I could touch his neck lightly. "You know, that feeling that gives you goosebumps." And toward the end of the massage, when he was on his back, he kept pulling the blanket down every once inna while. He started with it just below his chest. When I left the room, I could see his belly button. Big no-no. Hee, thanks. I try to set timers and clean and clean until they go off. If I'm tackling a bigger task, I don't bother to set a timer, like your number two. Aaand since I'm already running late on my getting-ready-for-bed time, I'll post my Friday grades tomorrow. Happy Solstice.
  11. Hee hee, thankee guys. I had forgotten that last night was trash night, so I was scurrying around, getting trash together to put outside. Read some after that, so I ended up going to sleep around 3:40 or so. BUT THEN I WOKE UP AT 1:30PM. D: For cleaning, I actually cleansed the house, but I don't think that counts. One of the downsides to being a female massage therapist is that every once inna while, you get a creeper. That happened tonight and I felt really nasty, so when I got home, I changed and got out my sage to smudge myself and the house, for good measure. Like I said, won't count that for cleaning. I did clean the sink (it looked all groady) and did the dishes... plus yet more laundry. XD I'm gonna wash all my mom's laundry before she gets back, too. Took Pook for a brisk walk, but it was short, so I'll only give myself partial credit. SLEEPS: C- CLEEEN: A ACTIVE: B-
  12. I know you honestly believe you are weak and have failings, but that is not what I see when I look at you at all. I also know that words don't always help, but I'm giving them to you, anyway. You are one of the most amazing, strong people I know. Even moreso because you have to fight your various crazies, and you still carry on. I know it's hard and sometimes you want to lay down and give up your arms. And I am proud of you that you're still fighting. I'm glad this control is helping you to drink and cut less, and also glad you said this extreme limitation isn't a long-term thing. I hope you're careful with the Zombie Run. My phone is always nearby, hun.
  13. Yeah, motivation is one of my biggest obstacles. As in, I have very low motivation. I'm working at it, but... little deadlines do help. The photo idea is an interesting one. I may have to try it. Tuesday Holy crap. Tuesday seems to be the start of AWESOME. I went to sleep around 3:30, so that could use some work, but I woke up around 11:00, which is about eight hours. And both are close to my goal-times, so yaaay! I also did some cleaning- light cleaning in my car, plus more clothes. My good clothes are all washed, but I needed pajamas and underthings and towels and the like. Also, took Pookie on two, really long, fast-paced walks. SLEEPIES: A- CLEEEEN: A ACTIVE: A Wednesday Sleep was weird. I fell asleep fine a little after 3:00 (GOAL!), but I kept waking up. Woke up again at 10:30 and decided to get the day started ('NOTHER GOAL! WHAT THE SHIT?) Folded the aforementioned laundry and did a bunch of walking throughout the day to try to break in my awesome new shoe/sandal-thingies. SLEEPYTIEMZ: A! CLEEEN: A ACTIVE: A Ho. Lee. Shit.
