  6. great morning thus far, started with a salad at 6:30 am, went to a job-site for a few hours, bought some side pork (thinly sliced pork belly) think uncured unsalted bacon its the paleoest bacon, lol. had bacon and eggs for lunch w/ a delicious glass of almond milk. Heading up the mountain to lift heavy things for work, woot.
  7. Wednesday: Paleo: as all hell, salad and meat is all I eat pork belly and smoked salmon for lunch on top of a wonderful spring mix drizzled with a vinaigrette, bacon and eggs for breakfast, and for dinner I intend to attempt a paleo shepards pie (mashed sweet potato top) 3/3 running: I like running (best forest gump voice) heading out for a five miler when I am done hammering this out (will update when complete) Weight: gotta get this monkey off of my back, one serving of fruit today and sweet potatoes with dinner means no fruit tomorrow. Thursday: Paleo: hell yes 3/3 Running: hell no I did no such thing fortunately it is my off day. 1/3 should have at least walked a mile. Weight: enjoyed a bit too much fruit, stayed paleo but not light 1/3 Life: abysmal failure, why cant I get into this damn book 0/3 Friday: Paleo: alrighty no slip ups today, though I did lustily stare at a beer on my lunch hour 2/3 Running: five miles today, hell yes 3/3. weight: zero fruit today, lots of salad feels good man. 3/3 life: put the book on the ipad so I can take it to bed with me, I think I may have the solution here. 2/3

  9. I am really sorry to hear about your friend, funerals are always difficult, the one time I have hopped off of paleo thus far was at my aunts funeral where I ate paleo, but that night I drank a half a bottle of whiskey (its how I mourn). also we miss you in the team thread, feel free to pop by and say hello or even copy paste from this thread.
  10. we all have stumbles along the way, hold your head up high and keep on trucking.
  11. with a union as broad as the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union. I feel as though any work shortage will be temporary, especially since the purchase of individual hostess brand names is already being speculated about, the twinkie and several other foods will most likely see a vibrant rebirth and more robust market share due to the insane amount of hype this has brought to the brand names. this is however in the opinion of a construction worker, so what do I know.
  12. woo hoo its been a long couple of days, 150 miles a day of driving on top of construction (yesterday I lifted a 12 foot 4x8 over my head while my employee braced it in place) have left me a bit beat to keep up. excuses aside bobtie looks breathtaking, we did a paleo shepherds pie last night (by we I mean my wife made it lol) http://www.wholelifehealth.ca/paleo-sweet-potato-shepherds-pie/ today held three salads two eggs, one sausage, and a delicious bit of leftovers with a roast chicken for dinner, five mile run today as well, hooray! I heartily second this opinion.
  13. hostess has begun liquidation of its poor health empire. is this shooting down a star destroyer or the death star? http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/11/16/hostess-brands-says-it-will-liquidate/
