  1. Hey guys. I'm kinda new to the forums so if I'm doing something wrong, let me know? I really like the idea of goals to set for ourselves, so I thought I'd put that into play right now. I've been doing a lot of running over the last 6 months, but my weight loss goals have stagnated over the last 6 months. After finding Nerd Fitness a month ago, I've rediscovered my love of weightlifting. I still love running and don't want to give it up. That's why I ended up in the Ranger forum. So, here's my first challenge. Fitness Goal 1 Run 30 minutes, three times a week. Even if it's raining. Use a treadmill if I need to, but keep running. (This sounds lame, but I live in Vancouver, and it rains here constantly. I've totally thrown off my plan and I skipped an entire week last week.) (STA-4) Fitness Goal 2 Master the Beginner Body Workout so I can get into weightlifting properly. Do this three times a week too. (STR-3, STA-2) Nutrition Goal Stick to the Paleo Diet. (I just started this two days ago.) (CON-3) Life Goal I'm in school this month, and I'm going to keep my grades up. This means studying properly, away from distractions.   2. My name is Christine, but I'm gonna go by Raynie on the forums. I've just recently started learning how to eat and work out properly... I did the Couch to 5K and just finished a few weeks ago. I'm happy I was able to complete it, but I'm still not happy with the sort of shape I'm in. I'm an artist and a writer, and my desk job consists of sitting all day, so I really feel like I need to get into doing some sort of regular activity. I'm hoping the community here will help for that. Everyone here seems really nice and supportive (judging by my creepy silent browsing so far... haha ). Over the next couple of months, I hope to get my body strength up, or at least just to get myself into shape. I started the Paleo diet this week, and it seems to be going okay so far. I was going to start with the Beginner Body Weight routine; does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really just starting from nothing... my arms are pretty weak and I have pretty much no back muscle. It's good to meet you! I'm very optimistic about things. Raynie
