1. Nice! A handstand is on my list of "to do one day" and that video you posted for advice on how to get started will really help! Great job!
2. Welcome moknitro! What are some of your goals?
3. Welcome Katiedid! Yay, Another Washingtonian! I love your goals but I have to ask, how are you going to accomplish them? Like tank said, next step is breaking them down to mini goals so you CAN achieve what you want to do!
4. Welcome Tusayen! I love your goals and I wish you much success!
5. Welcome craiggrock! Awesome job losing 75lbs already. I hope you find what you're looking for here and can't wait to see you progress!
6. That is a really cool site! I hope that helps you with your goal.
7. It sucks that you had to learn this from experience but I'm happy you are aware of it and are doing something to stop it! Drink that water!
8. Bah I'm the same. I'm waking up 5am just to do the morning mile and would not be able to wake up earlier. I know it's frustrating to not have a set workout schedule (time wise) but getting in workouts here and there are better than anything!
9. I feel like such a bad accountability buddy! I thought I had subbed to your thread but didn't see any emails. I agree with what HulmeK said. The engineers where I work ask a lot of hard questions and they like when a candidate is honest with them if they don't know the answer. Also, don't forget to ask your interviewer questions, field related but about their experience with the company as well. It shows that you want to learn as much as you can about them and if YOU want to work there. I hope you get the interview!
10. Awesome job HulmeK, way to dominate!!! I'm doing really well food wise, although I find the lack of appetite odd. I'm starting to struggle with my morning mile walk. Here is WA, it's starting to rain hardcore and as much as I like the rain, I don't like walking in it first thing in the morning. I'm not sure what I can replace this with, anyone have any ideas?
11. Sounds like you are doing pretty well! Keep up the good work. Personally, I like eating a little over and under, to keep my body guessing and not let it get into a routine. I think the most important thing is to listen to your body and what it needs. If you are having a hard time getting in more calories, try smoothies. I like to have a smoothie with spinach, blueberries and a banana + 1 cup of water and you are good to go (about 200cals).
12. Heya Sprene! How are you doing on your goals? You have some impressive goals so I hope you are doing well.
13. I get the same feeling sometime about going out. I usually just push through it because I know I'll enjoy myself once I'm out of the house. I also tell myself I'll only be there for an hour or so and end up staying WAY later. Great job on your list! Keep knocking each one off!
14. WEEK 1 RESULTS - A Veggies = A (meet goal or exceeded goal. 11/18 only had a chance to get in 4 due to not being hungry.) Morning Mile = B (I missed 1 day and didn't hit 1 mile each day, had to turn around early) Gym = A Organize the pantry for easy inventory = A
15. I think it's a great idea to take a step back and re-evaluate what your goals are. I don't think it's really lowering your expectations but creating achievable goals. I'm glad you tweaked your goals and didn't just ignore them all together/give up. I wish you luck with your new goals.
16. I took wed-fri off of work to get some things done and just relax. Today was a good day for me. Did my morning mile, went shopping for about 2 hours then came home and organized/labelled my pantry. I'm really happy it looks so nice. Now I just need to get the rest of my life that organized. This weekend I'm seeing Shakespeare's play, Antony and Cleopatra. How is everyone else doing?
17. Pantry items all organized, labeled and ready for inventory! I didn't realize how much I was using my pantry for storage, Lol. Before/after pictures!
18. HAHAHA. I would just end up putting my phone under my bed to silence it or throw it against a wall. I did that to a alarm clock when I was younger.
