  3. Greetings fellow nerds I was here for a bit, then disappeared I fell in March and tore the meniscus in my right knee. I don't even have a good story, I tripped over the #)(%)%( baby gate. I totally fell off the food and exercise wagon while I was recovering. Honestly, it was the most painful thing I have ever been through, and I've given birth three times. So here I am, Peggy, 36, 6ft1, 270lbs,,, My short term goal is 245 ( I want to be able to say I'm under 250) my final goal is to be 175. I want to run a 5k, I want to play softball again
  4. that's what we do, high speed internet + netflix instant I have a whole big soapbox about consumerism, commercialization and the sexualization of young girls in popular media, but it's also just easier and cheaper I've found
  5. I'm so gonna use that line, lol I might get funny looks because I'm 6ft1 and female, but it will be worth it for the looks,,lol welcome!
  6. do you have netflix? Seasons 1 and 2 are on instant watch. It is amazingly witty. Fun fact #2, Martin Freeman (Dr. Watson) is playing Bilbo in "The Hobbit"
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XSoIs4wfaeM Sherlock as Khan? **nerd swoon**
  8. Breakfast 2 cups of coffee with cream 2 slices bacon 2 scrambled eggs 1 banana 1 water bottle snack pear part skim mozz cheese stick diet pepsi lunch 1 tomato 1 can water packed tuna 2 pinches of shredded cheddar bunch of celery snack handful of trail mix (almonds, sunflower seeds, cashews and dried cranberries) 1 cup skim milk
  9. I wasn't, when I was a little girl, I looked emaciated. Then came puberty, and growth spurts, and boobs. by the time I was 14, I was 6ft1 and 170lbs.(I looked really really good)I played softball, ran track, swam, rode horses and shot archery for fun. I was putting away the calories, but burning them off as fast as I could get them in. Then I effed up my knee when I was 18. Then I couldn't do anything, I could hardly walk, but I still ate like I was training everyday. Then I had 3 babies in 10 years. 90lbs later,,,eeek. My 2 older children are both thin, my almost 11 year old son looks like a wraith (he's 5ft5 and 104lbs), my almost 8 year old daughter is thin, (the baby is 7 months old, she's a long skinny baby according to the Dr)

  12. yeah, his number for guys is 0. LMAO. My sister is a lipstick lesbian. All girly and frilly and makeupy. Whereas I prefer jeans and Grateful Dead tees. In fact, when she came out, tons of people said to me "oh, we thought it would be you" No no, I'm lazy, not lesbian. They both start with "l" but that's it, lol
  13. oh, my wonderful slutty years, lol. It's fun sometimes to tease my husband that I've slept with more women that he has, LMAO!
  14. I'm going to cut out grains,,stupid delicious grains,,,and fake sugars, and potatoes (om nom nom mashed potatoes) I can't do any diet that requires counting calories or fats, because I am a non puking bulemic (think "dry" alcoholic) and counting calories and such leads me back into those behaviours It's also fun to make sure I get the right balance of nutrition and intake because I have a breastfeeding baby (she's 7 months old), which on average burns 500 calories a day, so I have to feed me to feed her.
  15. Hey y'all <3 Another ally here! I identify as Bi, but I fell in love with and married a man. The most difficult time we've had re: sexuality is trying to convince people at Pagan festivals (he's Pagan, I'm an Atheist) that no, we don't want to be poly, and no, we are not "unenlightened" because we are monogamous, lol.
