  1. - 5 min jogging warmup 3x3 assisted pull-ups (same as before) 3x BBW -x20 lunges w/10lb bar -x5 squats w/10lb bar -30 sec plank -rows 35lb x5 each arm -streeeetch And then I went horseback riding. Let me tell you, posting a long-trot is like doing a thousand tiny squats a minute. I feel a million times better about my day now. Why did I stop doing this again...?
  2. 3x3 assisted pull-ups (step up on platform, minor kip up to bar, use momentum to pull-up, slow descent down, repeat) 3x BBW -x20 lunges w/10lb bar -x10 squats w/10lb bar -45/30x2 sec plank -rows (25lb x 10; 30lb x5; STILL TOO LIGHT MUST DO MOAR 35lb x5) each arm And then I tried my hand (back, butt, arms, legs) at deadlifting with a 45lb bar. This would have been a much better idea if I didn't have to set the bar on the floor, thus stooping that much further to the ground... however... x5 deadlift w/45lb bar Won't increase weight this week, going to get form back re-perfected, because I'm coming back from a two month stint of LAZY. I'm proud of those rows, though, and those almost-pull-ups-oh-so-close!
  3. To prevent from clogging up the Woot Room with various little woots of mine, I'm just making a "My Woot Thread". Now on to the woot itself: Today I lifted 50lbs over my head. That's almost half my body weight. Maybe it's not that impressive, but I'm terribly impressed with myself! Now to lift the ceiling! Woot woot!
  4. After ten years of Air Force PT tests, I've finally earned a 92.4 on my PT test, putting me in the "Excellent" category! This was one of my big goals that started me working out and joining the Rebellion in the first place, so WOOT! Now to maintain that score...!
  5. TODAY: x3 BBW+ (15lb lunges) Tricep dips 2x10, assisted pull ups 3x10, box jumps 3x10, 2x5 Tricep curls 3x10 10lbs 5 min crow pose
  6. Depends on which side of the guild they're on, I'd imagine
  7. Ack. Terrible job on keeping up with the forums. Last week was a B for Balance and Flexibility, B for Strength, and an A for Orderliness YESTERDAY: BBW+ x 3 (20lb rows, 45sec planks, x2 10lb lunges... need to keep steady with squats before adding weight) Tricep dips 3x5, Assisted pull-ups x3, box jumps 3x10, Rows 3x5 5 Min Crow pose practice. I got one foot up for about thirty seconds at a time. Huzzah! No handstand practice, yet. Kind of scared with the vertigo. TODAY: 20 min sprint/walk intervals. By the end of the six weeks, I'd like to be able to sprint/jog them... we'll see. Went about 1.5mi (either my calculations are wrong, or I really need to run my 1.5 steady much faster!) 1hr yoga class AND 10 min pose practice beforehand! Double huzzah!
  8. Dear Burpees, It's quite clear that we don't get along. Please stop being a pain in my backside... and abs... and well, everywhere. Love, Me P.S. This isn't over. Burpees before yoga! If I pull off an inverted burpee, I'm counting it!
  9. "They're like " They're like -amazing- and I feel I really need to work up to them! I will try some tonight!
  10. Coming late! This mini-challenge kind of goes against my six-week... but maybe that just means I need to sprint further... I need to get back to checking the forums every day... I can't believe I missed this!
  11. Welcome to the Rebellion and welcome to the assassins! You've set some great goals for yourself, and I'm looking forward to your notes about the trip to Mordor and back!
  12. Gratz on your level up! When are we going to the park?
  13. Crow poses are way harder than they look! 115lbs doesn't seem like a lot until you try to balance it all on your hands! BOOM, as soon as I can hold one long enough for a photo, it is SO happening.
  14. I'm on the "loving the 'find where the magic happens'" bandwagon. Awesome goal. I'll be borrowing that for future challenges. There's exactly one climbing gym in my town that I'm scared to go to...
  15. Happy to still be here! Those poses are going to be harder than I thought, but I'm looking forward to this challenge anyway. I'm looking forward to tacking on your mini-challenge!
