  1. Started whole 30 on the 15th with some friends in my area and then Loren was so kind as to point me here for extra support! Nice to meet you all
  2. Whole 30 Day 4: Wow, it's been tough, but I have stayed the course! Here is what I ate yesterday! Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs 4 mini peppers 1/3 guacamole Snack 4 strawberries 1/4 c almonds Lunch 1 oven roasted chicken thigh 1/4 c almonds Snack 1 hard boiled egg 1 coconut larabar Dinner 2 oven roasted chicken thighs 5 brussels sprouts sauteed in olive oil I am slowly weaning myself off the larabars, they are technically Whole 30, but they are a little carb heavy to help facilitate weight loss

  4. Whole 30 Day 1: Getting all my stuff together today. Making chili for the week and breakfast casserole so that I have quick and easy breakfasts for the first week. Food has gone well today, so far I have had and apple, Brussels sprouts, and some eggs. *edit* My immersion blender came in the mail today! Homemade mayo quest completed!
  5. I haven't posted for a while cause I smacked my face on the ground pretty hard when I fell off the wagon during my vacation and was pretty mad at myself (a.k.a embarrassed). Then my husband and I decided it would be a good idea to completely remodel the upstairs bedrooms (paint, blinds, furniture, you name it it's new and I assembled it). In the midst of all this my cousin decided he was going to do Whole 30 again and invited me to join up... How could I say no? Our Whole 30 challenge starts Monday, April 15th and I will be posting my successes here as often as I can!

  9. Sounds like you might have irritated one of your ligaments and it is annoyed with you. Injuries happen just always remember ice and anti-inflammatory meds are your friend. Happy exercising

  11. Ketosis Day 15 My husband's medical woes were not as bad as we thought (thank goodness), so I am back! Breakfast Fasting (too nervous to eat since we hadn't got my husband's results in) Lunch Chicken Cobb salad from Panera- 10g net carbs Dinner ??

  14. Weigh in Day Starting Weight: 230 lbs (Dec 1st) Previous Weight: 213.5lbs (March 11th) Current Weight: 211.5 lbs (March 18th) Wasn't very strict the last couple days, but at least my weight came down. I might not be posting much this week due to my husband having some medical issues...
  15. Ketosis Day 13 Had trouble falling asleep last night, but I feel fairly rested this morning. I even got up early enough to shower and have breakfast! Go me! Breakfast 3 eggs over easy- 1.8 g effective carbs3 slices Niman Ranch bacon- 0 g effective carbs1.5 oz kale, sauteed- 3.5 g effective carbs8 oz water

  17. Ketosis Day 12 Enjoyed getting to sleep in on my day off! Called the painters and got the day to paint the upstairs bedroom set in stone. Also, I am recovering from my dinner party last night, but I am still in ketosis even after all the excess carbs I ate last night. I am so glad my friends are on board with my eating style and didn't mind me ordering gluten free dishes to share. It's just too bad that I gave into the cramp demon and at some chocolate torte (at least is was GF!) I haven't eaten yet today since I haven't been hungry, but I think I am getting there now Breakfast ?? Lunch ??Dinner ??

Ketosis Day 11 Overslept and only had time to take a shower so I am drinking some cinnamon tea until I have time to go get food Breakfast 2 packets of Justin's almond butter- 4 g effective carbs Lunch Corned beef- 0 g effective carbs Green beans 1 c- 4 g effective carbs Dinner (Party at PF Changs for my Aweseom friend Laura!) Gluten free Spicy beef dish at PF Changs GF chicken lettuce wraps GF chocolate torte thingy DInner was very high in carbs but it was all gluten free! Yay! (but not sugar free lol). Had some fun doing sprints with a client (yay for unexpected intervals), but I need to decided what I want to do for resistance training. Have a great day all
