Yeah, I totally died off lol. Life has been so crazy let me just fill everyone in:
I didn't workout last week -.- I worked so much and have been so tumultuous trying to get over this damn relationship crap that it was not really working out for me.
But, I did in the past few days, come to the conclusion that I want to be a doctor. I want to help people. What gives me solace is helping others and seeing results. I can't think of any greater profession than a Doctor for that reason. Sure, the road is long and difficult but I can do anything!
I did workout today, which I'll post here. But I'm slowly getting better and trying each day to be happier than the last.

Literally laughed out loud at the 3 hour depression PR! Keep your sense of humor and your positive attitude about moving forward!
Lol I'm trying!
Sounds AMAZING! Was this the thingy at RTM? oooooooohhhhh so cool.
hey... you got in a nice workout! Maybe don't track being depressed? That just sounds kind of depressing.
The job stuff is tough. It's a weird time of year with fiscal cycles and new grads. Give it time. Job searches are really draining. BUT they do pan out. Eventually. Keep the faith. It will work out.
And definitely, live life. That is an amazing part of every single day.
Yeah, I think it was!
I don't know tracking it is kind of helping because I can find the causes and actually see how much of my day I waste on it you know?
I'll find a job. I know I will
^- what Cline said. and a *hug* ontop. Killer workout
:hug!:
Very VERY good workout, keep rockin it!
Thanks!
Hi surge!!
Great to see you back here and ready to kick some more ass & become super-bad-ass. I love your goal of a handstand push-up by the end of this year - that would be amazing!
It sounds like a challenging week with some difficult conversations but hopefully you'll feel some relief at having had them & maybe being able to move on? Relationships are a tricky one, so well done you for broaching the subject and not letting it fester.
Looking at your Life Side Quest questions I wonder if you have been reading Anthony Robbins or similar?
I'm reading Dan Millman. Peaceful Warrior. It's great!
Surge! Subbed!
Also, NICE long term goal. Will you post a video when it's go time?
Omg DEF
Heya Lady Jane! (Bond, that is...) Hope everything's doing okay over in your neck of the woods. Can't wait to hear how your weekend went and how week 2 is treating you.
Everything is okay. Rocky few days but I'm gonna post updates as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay guys!

PROOF BY WOLVERINE®
- Crappy workout = a bit of calories burned
No workout = no calories burned
Conclusion = crappy workout is better than no workout
- Crappy workout = an event in a series of events that form a habit
No workout = no event, habit broken
Conclusion = crappy workout is better than no workout
- Crappy workout = builds character, discipline, follow-through, consistency
No workout = builds nothing but a bigger ass dent in the couch
Conclusion = crappy workout is better than no workout

YOU WILL BE BADASS LIKE ME I have a ridiculous amount of faith in you--so much so that I KNOW you will!!
And you flatter me so much it's actually overwhelming.
I hope that you feel better! And that warmup is a good one! I do a very similar one (Thanks Steve!!) and it's tiring! You're sick, don't sweat it. You actually attempted a workout and that counts for a lot.
-
Whatt!!?!?!?!? You get to eat catspaw food!!?!?!?
WE NEED SOME MEETUPS IN MY AREA!! Anyone down for a Philly/NYC or Jersey Shore meetup!!?!?!
And Loren, I shall yell at you about going to KravMaga AFTER your return hehe.
-
Sorry, I wasn't in Battalion, I was a Division baby. Does that qualify for awesome? Or just the freaking:)
Yes this still qualifies haha
-
I'm glad to hear about WMAT too and that you had such a good time!
Sorry about your knee but you're badass enough and steadfast enough that you are totally gonna get through this.
And ontop of that, you are gonna figure out this carb thing too!! I just know it.
-
You're a freaking beast.
...That is all.
-
It looks like that talk you had with your therapist (which sounded so ridiculously productive) paired with those supplements you're taking has really helped! Understanding our conditions mentally and how they affect us emotionally is such a huge help during a healing process. I'm really glad that you're getting on the right track with this!
Plus, you're an amazing cook.

Goal 3: I forgot about yoga lol
Life Goal:
My handy spreadsheet says I was depressed for 9 hours throughout the day today.
What helped me:
A bit of closure and moving forward now. It's going to hurt every once in a while but I deserve someone who will commit to fixing things and go for the long haul and I honestly believe that. I'm going to have a full, abundant life! Plus, relationships shouldn't be that much work! I wasn't 100% happy before and I'm kind of muddling my hindsight.Life Goal #2:
Kind of a fail in the job department today. Too much thoughts and upsetedness, plus I had family things to do for large chunks of the day. But working out felt good and tomorrow is going to be new beginnings for job hunts and everything. I will hit the goal of five companies and all that of course
It was a difficult day but a good one. I'm moving forward and trying to hold onto what didn't work in the past so that I have a better idea of what I want for the future. It's time to live life, time to just do it!

Much needed update!
Day 2: July 30, 2013
Goal One: Workout:
No workout today, too darn hectic!
Goal 2: Didn't really have the time to run on Tuesday. Had a lot to do!!
Goal 3: I forgot about yoga lol
Life Goal:
My handy spreadsheet says I was depressed for 3 hours throughout the day today. (PR!)
What helped me:
Some communication with a person I'm upset about lol.
Life Goal #2:
Went to the Global Citizen Summit!! It was a beer tasting event in Philly paired with a serious discussion about race in our society today and I had a GREAT time!! I met such cool people and had some outstanding conversations. It was absolutely awesome. Really renewed my sense of wanting to learn more about the world around me--my intellectual curiosity if you will. Very exciting!
All in all, a good day!

Hey Surge!
Looks like you're starting off on the right foot! Question, when you're doing your inverted rows, are you doing them flat on the ground, with your feet propped up, etc? Just curious. Btw, followed
Flat on the ground, grab kitchen table, pull up by fingertips. They are really hard @.@ Thanks for following!!
I love your theme! What is your criteria for Bondness? I have a similar Bond-themed set of goals that I keep a list of (kind of like Steve's goal/master quest list). I just watched the Bourne Legacy over the weekend and got excited all over again to achieve secret agent spy status.
I also love your statement:
~~~
"In times of need i must ask myself: "What would my strongest, bravest, most courageous, and loving self do right now?"
And then Just. Do. It.
~~~
That is such a great way to look at actions in life.
Good luck on the challenge!!
Here is my list lol:
Calm, Smooth, Good Shot, Strong, Fit, Athletic, Proficient in Weapons, Proficient in Martial Arts, Intelligent, Sexy, Knowledge of World Affairs, Hyper-Aware, Dependable, Well-Dressed, Flashy.
Let's be super agents together!!
Thanks for the luck!!
SURGE!! *glomp* Welcome back!! So glad to see you're back in the game with us!
Your workout looks pretty B.A. That's a lot of combination moves. As you've already proven, though, you'll be able to fly though that cause you're Supra Strong. I like your attitude for your life goal, too. Just do it. No excuses... just do it. *hug* subbed so I can watch the awesomeness unfold.
Aww yay! :glomped: oof! ::hugs back:: Missed you!! I am hoping for a darn good challenge!!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
