  1. I will be representing the assassins for this challenge. may need to assess my initial goals before monday, but will sort it out for then.
  2. Ok nerd fitness. Here we go. Today I managed to eat no snacks or drink any soft drinks . I also got in my exercises and slept for 8 hours. Off to a good start. Tomorrow is my first run. So heres hoping that goes as well.
  3. I have goals planned for it, as well as a longer term goal. And have a log to make my records in. will be a blast I am sure
  4. Kenobi had a rather good plan, and I thought I would join in on it. I have taken his theory of Zombies. yes it is over used, but its one that is most prominent. and after all, whats the first rule of surviving the zombie apocalypse? Cardio, Cardio, Cardio! I have set myself the following goals: 1. take part in the first 5k race in Bristol on the 26th of March. As training for taking part in the bristol 10k later on in the year 2. get running 1.5 miles down to 9 minutes. 3. Funnily enough, take part in the Bristol 10k on the 5th of May 4. May seem like a bit of a cop out, but get an A in the four 6 week challenges that will be encapsulated by this 6 month one. 5. Up my max pull ups to 15 or above. I am currently sitting at 3, but if I work at it, then it should be achievable. 6. Complete the 100 Burpee Challenge heres to progress!
  5. Todays progress: a complete circuit of the NF beginer body weight workout, 3 sets of 30 arm curls (per arm) at 6kg 3 sets of 20 additional dumbell rows at 8.5 kg 1 Burpee for the 100 Burpee challenge and tomorrow marks the start of both my 6 month, and 7 week challenge (as it were). heres to a good new year
  6. I'm gunna start one now, ready for tomorrow http://nerdfitnessrebellion.com/index.php?/topic/21972-jesdens-6-month-challenge/ here it is
  7. I have a couple: 1. take part in the first 5k race in Bristol on the 26th of March.
  8. Ok. Well today went well I believe. I have eaten some scrambled egg, fish and some fruit. All in all, even 3 days into a food plan, if I stick to it I am impressed. Exercise wise I have done 3 sets of 20 dumbell rows per arm and 3 sets of 30 bicep curls per arm as well as upping my personal best for pullups to 3. I like to think that today was a good day, and I can't wait ro see what tomorrow will throw at me.
  9. I like the thought, just need to come up with some goals. I think a long term challenge is a brilliant idea.
  10. Well Technically I started on friday, but didn't get round to posting anything here. I am primarily doing this to get fit, and through fitness, boost my self esteem. And also to be able to play with my daughter as she grows up, rather than just be left behind by her. stats when starting (the height and weight are guesswork as I have no way of measuring just now): Height: 5'9" Weight: 14 stone Waist 33.5 inches Chest: 38.6 inches Belly: 34.6 inches Bicep: 12.8 inches Thigh: 22.4 inches Friday Got home from work and was bullied by my friend into doing 2 sets of the Beginers Bodyweight Circuit, after a day of work it nearly killed me XD, that was followed by about 5 pullups throughout the night. Saturday Walked into town and back pretty much the only exercise my body would let me do XD
  11. Sounds interesting. I am more than likely going to join in, but following a similar vein to TerraNik.
  12. Yeah, unfortunately I don't get to see her that often, but when I do, she spends most of it running around or in my arms , now just to turn that into a work out
  13. Hello everyone. I am 21 years old, slightly overweight, unfit and have some issues keeping to plans, however, I am determined to see this through. I am a father, and after looking at my life, I realised if I didn't change something, I would fall behind, and not truly enjoy it. I have a plan to change my diet and fitness (looking more at Paleo than Primal), and I have a friend ready to give me a severe dressing down if I diverge from it. I know this is a step in the right direction, and have the willpower to see it through. Regards, Jesden.
