  2. Hello Etchi! I'm still here! Thanks for caring. I overdid it a little bit last week and had to skip my Friday workout. It's me old man back acting up again. It would be nice to start a regular yoga routine along with my bodyweight workouts to keep my back limber. I did manage to get a 1/2 Bodyweight Workout in today with no Kettle Bell. We are setting off on our Oregonian Adventure on Wednesday so I its going to be a little tricky getting workouts in but I think I can be creative! We decided to keep our current tow vehicle that we know and take the drive really slow so no truck right now. The rest of the prep is going great though! As for Producing Things and Selling Them I haven't managed to make very much and haven't focused on it. I did get that hour of Busking in but no wands or anything. Tomorrow is a big Prep Day! I've got a good list of Quest to complete as far as packing and what not. I'm getting excited! Been waiting for this Adventure!!!
  3. Whew. I can feel yesterday's workout! I did manage to get myself out on the street today to play some music for a little over and hour and made $9 bucks! I got lots of nice compliments too which helped cheer me up during a tough day. Momentum!
  4. OK Makin' Progress!!! I'm feeling like I'm climbing back in the saddle and while its only a trot and not a gallop I'm excited to be building momentum again! I installed a Pull Up Bar in the garage and manage to get in my first full: Bodyweight Workout! 10 Push Ups 10 Squats 4 Pull Ups 10 Lunges 5 kettle bell lifty things each side 10 Sit Ups I did 3 rotations of that circuit but forgot the kettle bell in the middle one... So happy to be moving my body again.

  6. Greetings Fellow Rebels! I'm back after another hiatus. This year has been one of great change in my life. I just recently left all my jobs in the SF Bay Area live theatre scene and am now planning on moving to Oregon with my Girlfriend and our 2 year old boy to Explore a Life in Permaculture!!! Harvest Moon / Real Life Minecraft here we come! I'm going to employ some nerd fitness style life hacks and techniques to help me transition and Respawn! I haven't really figured out what my Quests are for this Challenge... I think taking control of my body again will definitely be a part of it. My Girlfriend has been kicking butt for months now and she earned a sweet kettle bell after completing one of her first 6 Week Challenges so I'd like to incorporate that into my Bodyweight Workout routine and Move that Kettle Bell! I think 3 days a week back at starter reps would be a good quest. I also need to Produce Things! and then Sell Them! I need to get back into carving magic wands and hobbit pipes. I'd then like to take pics and post them online. I've got an etsy account but haven't set anything up... And Play Music! I've got a One Man Band set up that I've been working on/with for a handful of years and I just need to get out and play more. It is fun and rewarding but so difficult to get myself to go out there... Time to Prep for the Oregonian Adventure!!! We've got a big adventure coming up in October and we need to prep for it and plan! We are currenlty living a Gypsy Wagon camper trailer that I built but it could always use improvements. The big thing is for me to Buy A Truck! and sell my old car. I love my car but it isn't strong enough to keep towing the Gypsy Wagon around... Sound Good!?! Well it's just a brain dump but it's a start. I'm excited to be back friends. I have a great opportunity to really take control of and leadership in my life. I have some room to experiment and I'd really like to take advantage of my opportunity but it's so scary!!! Here We Go! To Infinity and Beyond!!!
  7. Oh man, almost done with the challenge!! I got a good workout in last Monday! BW Workout #10 Then I managed another workout yesterday! BW Workout #11 ! Both went well and I maiantained my added reps. Bodyweight Workout: Push Ups 15-15-15 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 4-4-4 Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 My knees have still been a little sore but not as bad as the last few. Hopefully those muscles are getting stronger and they'll help support the joint! If I get one more workout in tomorrow I'll have completed all 12 workouts for this challenge! (even if it's a day late...)
  8. Ooh yea! Another workout in the books! Bodyweight Workout: Push Ups 15-15-15 (increases reps!!!) Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 4-5-5 (added reps!!!) Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 Not too shabby! Feeling strong today! My right knee has been hurting a little during the last two workouts. I don't know if it's from earthbending or doing squats and/or lunges wrong... Getting stronger though!
  9. I had to push back Fridays workout to yesterday(Sunday) but still managed to bust it out! Bodyweight Workout: Push Ups 12-12-12 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 4-4-4 Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 And lots of Earthbending yesterday and today! Whew! Feelin it!
  10. Ooh yea! I managed to get a workout in yesterday! Bodyweight Workout: Push Ups 12-12-12 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 4-4-5 !!! Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 Not bad! I maintained my 12's on push ups and managed to add a pull up in there. I had to delay Monday's workout to yesterday because I had just finished a 7 day Earthbending marathon! So sore on Monday! But I got it in yesterday and Mojobee and I have a workout tomorrow! Still on track!
  11. Mojobee and I got our Bodyweight workouts in today! I managed to up the reps on my Push Ups and Pull Ups! Today's Workout: Push Ups 12-12-15 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 4-4-4 Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 Is this the end of Week 3?!? Movin and Groovin!
  12. I got 2 hours of earthbendig in at my parents place today! I cut some new path and transplanted a small plum tree and a small apple! Exciting!

  14. I didn't think it would happen but I managed to get my Bodyweight Workout in today! Bodyweight Workout Today: Push Ups 10-10-15 (I wanted 20 but maxed out at 15. Not bad!) Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 3-4-3.5 ( I couldn't quite pull the last one. I wanted another 4... I got close! ) Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 I'm really happy to be busting out workouts again. My legs have been good n sore. And my neck muscles. I can feel them getting stronger! My next Bodyweight Workout is on Friday!
  15. Woo woo! Hello Fellow Rebels! Yesterday turned out to be a huge Earthbending day. I dug for about an hour during the day and then went crazy in the evening Earthbending for more than 2 hours and into the moonless night! I've also been doing some Waterbending. I didn't think about it at first but we are watering the garden with 5 gallon buckets and a watering can right now so there's a lot of carrying heavy buckets of water medium distances. We put about 3 gallons in each, I think 8 lbs a gallon? So 24 lbs on each arm for about 100' a few times. I think it counts as a workout!
  16. I also did a little Earthbending today (digging with me shovel) and some Waterbending (carrying 5gal buckets of water around for the garden)
  17. Bodyweight Workout Today! Push Ups 10-10-10 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 3-3-5 Lunges 10-10-10 Bicep Curls 6-6-6 (each side) Sit Ups 10-10-10 Whew! That was tough! Still sore from Wednesday. It'll get easier!
  18. Kickin butt and taking names! This cold/virus thing is just rude... It delayed my workout on Monday to today but I got it in! Way to stick to your other goals despite the storm! And it sounds like you're back on track!
  19. Thanks for the encouragement Ocelot! I managed to get another Bodyweight Workout in today at work. I was supposed to do it Monday but I've been battling a cold and my legs were still sore from last Friday... Today's Workout: Push Ups 10-10-10 Prison Squats 10-10-10 Pull Ups 3-3-5! Lunges 10-10-10 Sit Ups 10-10-10 Woo woo! I got a little bit of Earthbending done this weekend. I need to start keeping track of how much time I'm spending with me trusty shovel... And I need to post some pics of the garden! I'm getting back into the swing of things!

  23. Whew! Day 1 off to a good start! Thanks to mojobee's motivatonal skills I managed to get through a Bodyweight Workout today! Bodyweight Workout: Three Rotaions of: 10 Push Ups 10 Sit Ups 3 Pull Ups 10 Prison Squats Woo woo! Not too shabby! Thinking of adding Lunges and free weight bicep curls into the rotation...
  24. Hello Felow Rebels and Assasins! After another hiatus from the 6 week challenges and a trip to the doctor with a "well if you worked out more your back might not spazz out. Here are some pain pills" diagnosis I'm back and ready for action! I have to figure out the details but I think my plan is similar to past plans that have worked for me. Bodyweight Workout- 2 times a week! 10~15 Push Ups 10 Squats 3~5 Pull Ups What was the other one? Planks? I also have 15 lbs free weight and a 25 lbs free weight Sometimes I do a little bicep curl routine I think Monday's and Fridays for the BWW with other random stuff in there. Earthbending! -my girlfriend and I have recently started a homestead on her mothers property! It's my real life Harvest Moon / Minecraft adventure! I am currently digging swales (1' deep 2' wide ditches on contour) to build garden beds and harvest water. We're also digging a pond! For my Earthbending quest Id like to pick a certain number of hours a week and dig! Ok that's good to start. I'll add more as I flesh out my plan. I'm posting on my phone now so it's a little tricky for me. Working the kinks out! Here we go!
  25. I haven't done my Bodyweight workout yet today. But I did bike to work! I also just busted out one set of 10 Pull Ups! I had to readjust my grip a little before number ten but I pulled it! I've been flossing like crazy in prep for my wisdom teeth coming out next Friday. I'm feeling good after my first dentist appointment in almost 5 years! l'm a solid brusher after stashing toothbrushes everywhere. I've got one in my backpack, in the car, next to the bed and in the bathroom! I've got a bunch of those mini floss wand things stashed now too. I'm winning the battle on the front and back of my teeth but the territory between the teeth needs to be taken! I am well armed and shall be victorious! I ended up stretching a bit... The most was actually last night when I woke up sore and had to get out of bed an stretch before I could get comfy and back to sleep again. And I've been using my new 25lbs free weight. It's pretty tough and my arms get sore but it's fun! I do 5 bicep curls and then 5 bicep curl and shoulder lifts with each arm. Then ten tricep lifts holding the weight behind my head. I'm enjoying the challenge!
