  1. Thanks! Even though I haven't had time to be on here, I finally can be, and I have to say, I did pretty good. I mean, I stayed at 233 Lbs, but, I'm working on that. I stuck to the fitness guide, and I'm done with that now. I have approval from my school, so, the project is a go. I just couldn't do the only water challenge! But! That shall be for next time, I swear. Third time is the charm right? I'm going to be setting up some diet goals for the next 6 week challenge. Pretty sure that my diet is what kept me at 233. Oh well, I still got better though. I'm running 3-4 miles every other night at 5 MPH on a treadmill in preparation for a few 5Ks I want to participate in, and I hit the in between days with 20 minutes at 6 MPH. I'm doing better than ever, and I guess thats it.
  2. Woo! Been a while, school has just been beating me with all these assignments! Anyways, keepting to everything, not cheating at all! Actually, I've completed my lose 10lbs achievement, weighing in at 233 lbs today. That's from 244 lbs from the start of the challenge. Been keeping to the Fitness Guide, and I have drank around a million gallons of water during this time. The project is going to be due soon, and I don't think I will be having any sponsors soon until the summer, so I will revise that goal.
  3. Don't worry! I've been keeping to my goals! 2 weeks down!
  4. Day #4 rescheduled to Saturday. Ended up donating blood today so I couldn't workout. Will workout tomorrow though.
  5. You should really use that Sunday for a rest day, other than that, looks good. Be sure you do slow reps, so you really put your body to work. Be sure to eat enough protein, and I think that's it. And yeah, even though you may not feel like you're making progress, you are. Every day you workout, is another victory against an unhealthy lifestyle.
  6. Day #4 COMPLETE! 38 days to go! Also, I have reached a milestone, where I am able to run at 5 MPH for a total of 30 minutes (2.5 miles). Its awesome. I can honestly say that this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Its awesome.
  7. Ha! Berserker mode? For me it's called "Bringing it", enabled by the phrase "Bring it on.". I might now have a success story about it yet, but I sure will soon. I actually implemented it into my workout today, with today being a 30 minute cardio day. 33:20 minutes total 15 minutes at 5 MPH 3 minutes at 3 MPH 15 minutes at 5 MPH And with "Bringing it" enabled, I bumped up the speed to 6 MPH for 20 seconds. The best workout I have ever experienced. Well, including the surprise my Dad had for me, which was going to shovel the driveway for about an hour. This is how I used my 20 seconds today. Whenever I do this, it turns the obstacle I'm facing from impossible to way too easy. Woot!
  8. Thanks! Mr. Incredible is the only Superhero I know that ever lost weight!
  9. Nice goals! From my experience, free weights always seemed the best route for muscle mass, but, knowing that not everyone has access to a gym and all that, the Batman Body Weight Workout is a great alternative (Off of the Nerd Fitness site). Also, lifting is 50% physical, 50% mental. I noticed when I went to Summer Weights at my school that when I went in thinking I was going to lift like a Champ, I did WAY better than when I went in thinking about how this guy did more than me on this and this and this. Just a bit of what I know. (Actually, my Dad wouldn't let me work out until I had done a sufficient amount of reading about it). Anyways! Good luck!
