  1. Pics of the shirt would be awesome. Video even better!
  2. "But Dad, what if I don't like camping?" "Then it will build character!" Wise words they are indeed.
  3. chris, always faster than I am in responding here. One day I'll get you But please do share some experiences of yours! I'd love to participate but my homecountry has none. Berlin would be best for me I think.
  4. Thank you! Was not an easy one, but persistence and self restraint pulled through
  5. Hello I'm gonna keep this short and sweet, so as to only take as little of your time as possible Goalreview WORKIT! The Goal here was to go to the gym three times a week, and I did. Every. Single. Time. I'm giving myself and A here! (+2 STR, +2 STA) EATIT! This goal was to eat 100% Paleo for every day of the challenge, except for special days, it was also the hardest goal for me to grade. On the one hand I feel like I did really well with my food (and I did). I only ate non paleo stuff on 3 days, which were the three days the funerals were held. I was however a little sloppy with the liquids. Drank some wine here and there aswell as beer once. Since the goals name is EATIT, I'm gonna go ahead an reward my good eating with an A here. (+2CON +1CHA) BENDIT! Alright, so the challenge has 42 days, of these I did daily stretches on 40 (=95%). As well as extended routine 18 out of 18 planned times. This is another A for me (+3 DEX, +1 CHA) QUITIT! My lifegoal was to quit smoking for good. Number of cigarettes smoked this past 6 weeks? Zero, thank you very much for asking! Another A in my book (+1STA +1WIS +1CHA +1CON) Straight A's! I did awesome this challenge, and I'm really looking forward to the next one again! Hope your challenge went as great as mine!
  6. Oh you flatter me Loren And here I am just doing what works for me! Thank you! Just make sure you are like me during challenge time, and not in between time. I wish there was some kind of magic formula that I could share with you guys. But all I do is keeping focus on my goals and picking things I'm good at.
  7. As usual I don't know what any of your workout means. Hooray for being a fitness nuubie Great that you're having fun with it though!
  8. It is unimportant if you win the game. What matters is that you played it Heads up, you'll be back to awesome town next challege!
  9. Thanks a lot! Quitting smokeing surely was not easy, but I managed to pull through It was indeed. Would not be able to do it without all the awesome support I recieved here, especially in sad times where I needed it. Thank you so much! I'm already looking forward to next challenge. I'm seriously considering picking something ridicolously hard. Just to prove I don't go easy on myself I do what I do, you know? Thanks soo such for your kind words!
  10. Glad to see you did put it where it bleongs You're welcome! It's a two way street! Kettlebells sound fun! Looks like you're set for some more success next challenge.
  11. I'm so glad you stuck with it until the end of the challenge! Now that you made it through the first, second one is right around the corner. And I know you will do awesome there Best of luck!
  12. fYEAH! Overall B+, that is really awesome! The scale thing is still unfortunate though. But I remain certain that the fatloss/muscle growth you achieved is awesome Hope to see some more inspiring goals (and exotic workouts ) from next week on
  13. Alright, time for s ome end-of-challenge wrapping-up! First of all thanks for all the great support, and thank you for reading this. I could not do this without you! This was my second challenge, I had a lot of good times at the gym and utilizing the paleo diet for weigthloss. On the other side of that medal, there were three deaths in my personal environment. Twice family and my favourite teacher from middle school. This led to a few sad days and bleak moments, but eating and being healthy helped me a lot in getting through this. Goalreview WORKIT! 14. Thanks a lot to the both of you! Only couple days left to go Challenge update #18 So this is it. Last scheduled update for my 2nd challenge! Went quite okay, I'll do a full recap of everything sunday or monday I think. Thank you so much for going through this challenge with me and all your awesome support! Let's get right into the third part of my week. I was a little sick yesterday (some fever, mostly sore throat) but I think I'm already over it. A good workout can cure any small ailment I find! I got an appointment with my orthopedician (or whatever the correct word for a bone doctor is, he's a bone doctor) to consult about me going back to deadlifts and squats. After 6 weeks of Armday Erryday im not really into it anymore. Anways that's gonna go down next week, I hope I can go back to squatting by friday. WORKIT! Went to the gym today, even though I still felt my throat a little. Let's just say it wasn't my best day, but still got a decent workout. I moved the third running session this week to a later date. EATIT! All Clear! Doing awesome, cruising directly towards an A finish here. BENDIT! I missed my daily stretches on wednesday when I began to feel ill, but I did the long workout yesterday. So one missed session of daily stretches, so far. QUITIT! All Clear here aswell! Quite proud of myself I got to say. Short and concise update in the end. Gotta say I really enjoyed myself during my second challenge. I'm already looking forward to picking new goals for my third one in a week! Thanks for your continued support! Could not do this without all of you
  15. I've never gotten the point of IF but if it works for you it's awesome! I hope you mange to do it easily Only a couple days left now, I think you'll be able to pull through.
  16. I wholeheartedly agree with cline's assessment of the situation! Just need to get over the tiredness hump and then you'll be awake easily.
  17. Which is good because progress always lies ahead!
  18. AtG Squat best Squat! What's the deadline on your taxes? And what happens when you don't mail them in on time? I never had to do taxes yet. Have not earned enough money.
  19. Back on track! The only right direction to go
  20. It's 3 more days, and I know you easily got 3 more days in you! As long as you work on improving you will improve, just a matter of time! And small steps are better than none.
  21. Standing up for what you believe in is worth the price that is to be paid most of the times. It's great that you did, and you will forever be able to take pride in that. What's one bad workout week in contrast to that? Nothing, if you jump right back into it, which it looks like, you do, it's all gonna be good. There's always gonna be a next week
  22. Soo much spanish talk, wish I had something to add. Anyway, I hope you're still doing great shortstuff!
  23. Thanks a lot! I'm really thankful that you drop by here so often, all the awesome support makes this a whole lot easier Yeah I'm really proud of the 8k. I never thought it'd be that much. I mean I was anticipating a weigthloss, afterall I was 100% (well close enough with only a week off) but I thought it was gonna be less than that. Soo awesome to see though, really gave me a push to finish strong this challenge Challenge Update #17 Wow. Next to last update. Time really flies when you're doing good Funeral yesterday was a bleak affair. As is to be expected from a funeral I guess. The Culinary options for at the restaurant afterwards were extremely limited as they only opened for the funeral guests. Funeral still a special day though, so I'm still on course for a baaarely an A, A in my dietary goal. Still an A though! WORKIT! I had to work today so I had to push going to the gym into the afternoon. Which is always a little tricky because of the many people at the gym as well as the problem of what/when to eat before working out. I'm really used to working out after getting up in the morning. Suffice to say I wasn't able to give it my all, because of the hunger and time I think. Still had a decent workout, finished all my sets and everything. Came a little short on the chinups, but that's okay. I went running for 20m after weigthlifting (on a treadmill, this morning snow everywhere. Again. In Bloody April.) which was nice. EATIT! So yesterday I went away from the plan, but the special occasion clause in my goal makes that not a problem. Already right back on track, with my beloved fruits, veggies and meat! BENDIT! Haven't missed one yet, and definately keeping it that way. Lookin forward to my evening stretches today/ QUITIT! No news, here. All is well. I managed to quit smoking!
