  2. Greetings, fellow Scouts! 2nd challenge, did well the last challenge, already lost 40 lbs, so I know I can do this. This challenge will be pretty much like the last one. GOALS! C25K I'll continue to do the C25K app 3x a week and get to running 1/2 a 5K by the end of the challenge. Bonus: Sign up for a 5K. +5 STA Body Weight Training I have my own body weight training routine I made to do 3x a week on my non-run days. (Link to my routine here.) Bonus: Be able to do 10 regular push-ups. (I can't even do two.) +2 STR +2 STA Paleo I've been doing Paleo and sugar free for 5 months. I vow to continue this and additionally not eat out or eat complex carbs for the next 6 weeks. +3 CON Spanish/French I homeschool my son (7 years old) and have been teaching him Spanish. I'd also like to learn French, so this will be the mental training. +3 WIS I log my daily food intake as well as exercise on the LoseIt Website and app. BONUS! A progress picture for you. Before/During - 30lbs lighter. And here's an awesome picture of leg progress during the last challenge 10 more lbs lighter (before is on the right, during on the left, sorry for the mix up): I would like to lose 10 more lbs during these 6 weeks. I know I can do it!

  5. Big kudos to german, 18ck, aimless, aidanpryde, jfrankovich, ellisd012 and KillerGriller. Thanks for encouraging me to become better and keeping my spirits up when I felt like I was failing.

(Link to my routine here.) +2 STR +2 STA +1 STR, +1 STA ( C ) I didn't do weight training as much as I should have. Paleo I've been doing Paleo (with Keto mixed in) and sugar free for 3 months. I vow to continue this and additionally not eat out or eat complex carbs for the next 6 weeks. +3 CON +2 CON ( B ) I ate out a few times, but I did NOT eat complex carbs and stuck to paleo. 3D Game Programming I've been meaning to get better at game art so I can help my boyfriend make games. (Bachelor's of Science, Video and Game Art Programming) So during the next 6 weeks, every day I'm going to practice and get better. +3 WIS +2 WIS ( B ) I barely did any game programming, most of it was reading the dummy guide.   8. I fell pretty hard on W4D3 day before yesterday. But I got up like a BOSS LADY and finished my run. Picture.

  10. Today was awesome, goal-wise. I ate paleo/keto and ran two miles for the first time in my life! I am also on a month long weight plateau, but measured myself today. I may not have lost weight, but I've lost some inches.
  11. Update, sans picture, sorry. Why does life have to make me so busy. Stop it, life. Been watching my calories and eating Paleo/Keto, running, but not my weight training (However, I DID walk 2+ miles each weight training day, so... Not a complete fail.). There are a million excuses not to do something, but I can't think of why I didn't do my weight training the last time. I'll do it tonight.
  12. I may have... One night doesn't undo almost 4 months of work. Ugh, was so sore. And a little sweaty. (And when I was taking video of the band some grabby guy poked me in the armpit, then pinched my side. What a weirdo.) The run went great! Last night's run was hard; I decided to run a little farther and I even decreased my per/mile time. Go me. I may shuffle and be a bit slow, but the more I lose, the faster I get.
  13. Last night was... SO MUCH FUN and I drank SO MANY CALORIES. Got to take photos with the band's singer, got free drinks and free nachos, got to dance. Than I entered it all in to LoseIt. OOPS! Proof of drunk. Running tonight. My legs are still sore from the dancing, but it's gonna get done.
  14. It's a big slice of free range organic bacon. It has to last. O_O I just couldn't handle running while someone is screaming/crying for minutes in my ear. If it was me, I would have covered her mouth with my hand... Putting everyone at risk like that... >:C
  15. Okay, I don't know how many of you have done Zombies, Run! before, but if you have.. Mollie. Just. No. I don't want to listen to that while I'm running. Also. Do you know how hard it is to eat one slice of bacon!?

  17. Going to see a Journey cover band tonight. I am beyond excited. Update for yesterday! I didn't do my weight training... I was a little down. But I did eat really well. Here's a picture of my dinner: Epic Salad. With a balsamic vinaigrette.
  18. -3lbs in a week is really good! Nice and steady wins the race. As far as the cardio, you're still lapping everyone on the couch with your convict conditioning, right? I can't even do a real pushup yet.
  19. Thanks, I rarely eat more than two slices, so when I discovered I ate a half of a pizza, I felt sick, then I figured I must have needed it. I have read that before, but needed to read it again. Thanks.
  20. Day 8! (Yesterday) Did pretty well. Those tacos were the best. I made them in my oven.
  21. I have! I slacked out on it (and posting) yesterday, but I usually do 1/2 hour of high intensity body weight strength training on my non-run days. I can already see better arm definition. Makes me happy.
  22. Glad you're feeling better! Sweater helps with the chill, I also apply chapstick before I run. My lips get so cracked and dry from the cold and my heavy breathing.
