Started running on monday and continued doing so today! Nice! Also I finished the 50 pushups challenge, so I'll get another +0.5 STR and +0.5 STA in the end.
  2. Did 25 the day before yesterday and 25 today as a warmup before running.
  3. Thank you Shukar! Guess it was the NMA-article I had read some time ago. How long did you train for your first marathon? I've got a book that says it could make you run a marathon in three months, provided you start at 1h/10km, but unfortunately I had to stop half way through because of finals and sickness ;(
  4. Some time ago, I've read about people running mostly on fat instead of carbs, which is great because I have some fat to lose Now I'm training for three half marathons and at least one real marathon this year, so I'll have loads of kilometres to use this skill and train my body to use the evil fat around my belly and waist for energy. The question is, however: HOW do I make my body use fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates? Hope you can help me, thanks in advance

Continuing to be very successful with my water drinking goal, the other goals aren't really going well, I'll try changing that on monday. Also another area that is not part of my goals here is moving forwards very well, so I'm feeling alright all in all

Found a cool 30-day-high-intensity-workout by a cool German guy that I've done the last two days already. Feels nice to get the sports thing over with in 5 minutes I also want to work on my endurance for the marathon though, are there reasons why I shouldn't do both at the same day? While I also do squats during those workouts, I don't think that this would really impact my running greatly.

Thanks people I've realized that too when I went some time without anything but water to drink. But at some point I always think "ah well, I can drink ONE bottle, I mean, I've broken the habit" and then one bottle becomes two bottles and then the habit is back and the difficulty of breaking it is back again too I think I'll try to go completely without it next week, but I'll have to plan stuff to keep me busy then. Anyways, today I started working out again :-) Wasn't too much, some crunches, some pushups, some reverse pullups to make me stronger, so I can do a real pullup soon, but I'm already happy that I did something!
  8. I'm currently on 0, but want to reach 10 at some point. Is there a site with the program you're following? :-) EDIT: Okay, I guess that's the one: http://twentypullups.com/the-training-program/

UPDATE! Life Goal: On wednesday I reached my life goal, i.e. I handed in the papers at the office! Now, I do need to hand in something more that my parents have to fill out and probably the staff will have something to complain about which I'll have to hand in, but the big step that was my goal has been taken! Drinking Water: I managed to drink a bottle of water every day of this week. However I did not manage to completely get rid of the soda, although I reduced my intake. I think it's because I was sick and basically didn't have ANYTHING to do but to sit around, so this will get better soon. Goal 2 & 3: I'll start with those on monday. I'm mostly healthy again, but not completely, so I'd rather wait another day, instead of risking anything. And thank you sumdawgtwigg
  12. How will you know when you have achieved your "Draw!" goal?

Hey Starpuck! It's actually my second challenge, I just changed class and race for this one, but we can still support each other Lvl 2 is not that far from lvl 1 The mini challenges will be posted in a seperate thread within the rangers board and pinned, so they'll stay at the top of the list of threads.
  14. Hey Skye! I don't really know how quitting smoking is, but I'm trying to quit drinking sodas, which is really hard for me and I've found that drinking a bottle every few days is much harder than just quitting completely. When I stopped eating meat it worked the same way. I set the goal of one week, which I managed to reach and after that I just thought "hey, I can do one more day" and like that this one week became almost a year already :-) Maybe that somehow helps you in your quest.
  15. Comeon, you don't have 4 goals, you have 23! Cheater! But good for you if you can reach all of those!
