Hello fellow assassins, I guess you can say that I've been “retired†for half decade, but I'm ready to get back in the game. My retirement hasn't be friendly to me and I've gone real soft and gained almost 100 lbs. To kick things off I'm going to start off slow and keep my goals realistic. Goal one: Lose 12 lbs in the 6 weeks. This means that I need to lose 2 lbs a week. I'm going to accomplish this by not eating out at all and cooking dinner and bringing bento lunch everyday. I've been very sedimentary so I plan on dusting off my ninja shoes and hitting the streets. I'm going to walk/jog the dogs every day. On each of these walks/jogs I plan on timing myself, and each day I hope to best the previous day's time. Goal two: I have been wanting to learn Japanese for a while. I was studying it a while ago but the 3 day monk inside of me took over and I moved onto other things. In these 6 weeks I am going to learn hiragana, all 48 characters, and 50 new Japanese Words. I have flashcards made up and I need to lean 2-3 new words/characters a day. Goal three. Cut out the soda. I have a slight soda addictions...(sneeze...3-5 a day...sneeze). I know I'm consuming pointless calories when I drink that vile elixir. I've cut out soda quite a few times in the past but it's never stuck. I also know that I'm in a rough few days. I have massive caffeine withdrawals and all I want to do is sleep. So I'm going to have to push through the pain to make goal one and two happen. I'm going to stop there, three goals. I like 3, its a mysterious number, one of my favorite numbers. I look forward to meeting some cool people here. See you all in the Den.
