  2. In case anyone is curious, I am trying to get a challenge up and running this 4wc. I just posted in the Rangers. Nothin fancy, just trying to get back in the groove after 3 months away from working out regularly.
  3. Events are the teachers of fools. Hey everyone I am back from a long break and fashionably late to this 43WC. I wan't to channel my inner Doc Holliday and get back to business. For those of you who don't know, Doc was a Dentist who turned gambler and gunslinger when he moved out west for his health(Tuberculosis). Doc was known for his clever wit and intelligence often to a fault when his mouth got him in some hot water. I plan on continuing my studies for my CCNA certification. If I get this certification I can move up into a more prominent role in I.T and get some more $$$. Study for CCNA at least 30mins 6X a week Like I said, he has a way with words. I am currently teaching myself Russian and I want to keep up with it. Study Russian >20min 5X a week Doc traveled around the U.S and despite being ill he never let it get in the way of his goals. I need to get back into working out again after a few months of nothing. I previously followed a Powerlifting routine for close to year (Juggernaut) I had great success with it but I want to ease back into it and just focus on bodyweight stuff for now. BW routine 3X a week 50 Prisoner Squats 50 Diamond Pushups 25 Jumps 25 bodybridge extensions 50 planche Jackknifes 50 Step-ups (25 reps per side) 25 Pull-ups 50 Forward Lunges 50 Diamond Pushups 50 Inverted Rows 50 Squats 25 Chin-ups All of that gunslinging requires great dexterity and speed. In order to increase my flexibility and overall mobility I need to get some more yoga back in my life. Yoga >2x 20 mins a week.

  5. UPDATE: I knocked out some more workouts plus went walking and some early morning stretches before bed that would half be considered yoga I also finally saw John Wick 2 which was pretty awesome! The movie was just eye candy for sure but I loved it. I have also been practicing my Spanish some more the last few days cuz damn I grew up in all Spanish neighborhoods, lived in Southern Cali and now in South Texas married to a Spanish wife and I have chingos of Spanish cousins and yet I still haven't gotten my act together and properly learned Spanish. Right now I am experimenting with the mimic and Telenovela methods where I listen to Spanish music and mimic the accent and learn the words. Its by far more enjoyable than duolingo and studying grammar words. Anyway I am currently jamming to this song: But this is a good one I have practiced with a few times:
  6. Lol my friend used to get the same thing back when I was in the military cuz he worked nights and like to bbq in his front yard and drink beer at 6am and wave to people as they went to work.   7. Whatup everyone?! Yeah I ghosted there for about a week I know. So I think my body is getting used to the vampire lifestyle and sleep schedule. I have been doing my workouts\walking and yoga still although I have yet to get any consistency on a workout schedule yet. Today I managed to go 3 for 3 and did my workout, walked\hiked with the kids for a few miles then got home and stretched it out. As a side note I am amused with myself everytime I am chilling drinking a beer at 6am while I see people leaving for work in the morning.
  8. My kids are old enough (9 and 7) to not burn the house down while I sleep a few hours in the morning so today went pretty well. I went to sleep at 7a and woke up about an hour later to get the kids some breakfast then i slept till about noon while they watch movies and played around the house. Then I took them to the pool and we played around the rest of the day. So far so good, I got a workout in and some stretching done too. Yess gotta love Juggernauting a 4WC!
  9. Hey everyone sorry for the mini ghosting the last week has been crazy. I am going to call the first week a success I am now officially on night shift so it will take some getting used to again but I will be working 9p -6a m-f. So all in all a damn good week and I hope to keep up the momentum as I switch to getting less sleep due to having 2 crazy kids to watch during the day since they are on summer vacation So take this you shifty eyed week 1!!
  10. Updates coming soon, I have been working really long hours fixing this virus that hit 7 of our hospitals. I have had to reimage hundreds of computers but we pretty much got rid of everything. I did some yoga the other day but I have been too tired to knock out my T500 workout.
  11. Badass job on the workout and foam rolling. I feel you on the no AC, my car has no AC right now and Im in Austin so I know what that Texas heat feels like!
  12. BW workout done! It has been 2 months since I did an actual workout and to say this was a struggle was an understatement but I finished! It took me roughly an hour as apposed to the 20-30 min it usually takes because I was aiming to just finish instead of shooting for time. I know as I get back into the swing of things it will get easier. I broke the workout up into 5 sets of 5 for the exercises with 25 and 5 sets of 10 for the 50s. I was a sweaty mess but it feels good to be exercising again. 50 Prisoner Squats 50 Pushups 25 Jumps 25 Stability Ball Leg Curls 50 Stability Ball Jackknifes 50 Step-ups 25 Pull-ups 50 Forward Lunges 50 Close-grip Pushups 50 DB Rows 50 Squats 25 Chin-ups After the workout I did some foam rolling and then some stretching\yoga as well to get rid of some of the tightness in my hips and back. The house is also clean and I only have 1 more load of laundry to wash and 1 to put away of the kids clothes. The weather is overcast here but really humid and warm so I plan on taking the kids for a walk on the trails behind the house. The trails are about 2-3mi that winds through the woods behind the house and eventually goes under the street and ends with a playground so I can probably bribe the kids with the playground to stick out the walk Overall this is a very good start to the challenge. Tomorrow the wife and kids and I are going to Houston to visit some of my wife's family so it should be a chill couple days since we all have monday off. One thing I can cross off my headshot list is getting on nightshift though! The kids start summer vacation so I had to switch to nights in order to watch them during the day for the summer and my supervisor gave me the green light to switch to nights on the 5th. tl;dr BOOM Headshot!

No I like it and it still works, basically once we are apart of a prescribed or voluntary community we look to the groups leaders for the starting rules of engagement and then after that its pretty much up to the community and ourselves to govern how close we follow the rules. We all follow or ignore the rules for various reasons but at the end of the day are you saying there is always someone watching? Should we care if someone is watching? I guess I am confused on the point being made, is it just a social commentary of sociological norms or is just put out there to see what parallels we draw in our own lives?

  19. Woo Warrior solidarity Yeah its called Turbulence 500, the program is total b.s but the bw routine does a damn good job of gettin me wrecked! Its my go-to program for bodyweight stuff cuz it seems to work well for me.

Once upon a time I was in the Assassins guild when I first joined NF and I think its time I came back for a new challenge after my break For this challenge I am going to draw inspiration from one of my favorite movies and assassins, John Wick! John's Gun Fu is damn impressive in the films because of his complete awareness and control of all of his limbs so I am going to let the weights take a break from the ass kickin I was giving them doing the Juggernaut Power-lifting program since October and focus on my tried and true BW routine. BW 3x a week 50 Prisoner Squats 50 Pushups 25 Jumps 25 Stability Ball Leg Curls 50 Stability Ball Jackknifes 50 Step-ups 25 Pull-ups 50 Forward Lunges 50 Close-grip Pushups 50 Inverted Rows 50 Squats 25 Chin-ups John has damn good endurance and goes full throttle with the ass kicking the entire movie so its time to swallow the Warrior pride and get some cardio in Walking\Hiking 2x a week John's ability to flex around and manipulate himself and his opponents is impressive so I am going to work on get some flexiness going Yoga 2x a week John is a man of focus and direction as well as a meticulous planner so I am going to draw this inspiration by keeping the house clean and as close to OCD as I can keep it.
